[QUOTE="AmazonTreeBoa"]I have a high end PCnethernovaYeah, we know. We've seen your idiotic sig. Seriously, what's up with people like you? Do you really think anybody cares what mouse you use? Stop crying like a little sissy b!tch and go get your diaper changed junior and get your bottle of milk and take a nap. Not often I see such a jealous ass hurt response. Thanks for the laugh moron.
I'd need more than just one game to get me to buy one, I'd at least like (I know this exactly won't happen but I'd like something on the same order of greatness):
-A Smash Bros better than Brawl
-A new F-Zero game
-A new Star Fox game
-Much better 3rd party support
-Some awesome RPGs
-Better exclusives
-Cheaper pricetag
For one, the price of the system would need to drop by at least $75 - $100 for me to even look at it. After that, it would need to have at least 3-4 great 1st party games out for it. Like Zelda, Mario Kart SSB, 3D Mario, Metroid, Wii U Sports, Super Punch Out, Mario Bros RPG, Yoshi Island Next, etc...Nintendo's Wii U is right now struggling, and will possibly continue to struggle in the market once the PS4 and Xbox 720 hit. However, that doesn't change the fact that it is definitely going to get multiple great games courtsey of Nintendo. My question to you all is, what game would compel you to get a Wii U most of all?
charizard1605
New F-zero, with hub that allows you to walk around, unlock tracks, and have a sotry like CTR.
Â
New Starfox that combines Adventures and Assault.
Â
New IP, dark adventure game perhaps?
Â
Another IP that looks maturish on the cover of the box.
Â
Third-party games coming to the PS4 and 720.
Â
Third-party games coming to the 360 and PS3.
Â
A new Metroid.
Â
A more realistic fantasy fire emblem and less anime.
I don't know. I've grown tired of their huge sellers (or I'm just outgrowing Nintendo), but an amazing Metroid would help my interest immensely. So would a new Zelda IF they actually brought it into the next-gen and made it look like that tech demo. Not to mention throwing away its predictable formula and make it fresh and exciting. Wave race would be nice, as would a new Fzero that didn't involve wind-up toys. Of course, any new massive IPs are needed. But I think most of all, Nintendo needs to start viewing its audience as adults. MirkoS77Predictable formula, need to treat their audience like adults. Shouldn't that be aimed at Naughty Dogs and Activision?

Last of us? Uncharted? COD? you don't think blowing peoples limbs off and heads off are not adult aimed?
Metroid is one of the few IPs that isn't family gaming based. While all the others can be enjoyed by adults, they certainly aren't aimed exclusively at them. You are probably right about Activision though, I didn't realise how many family games they make, it is pretty much the Blizzard/COD company with a bunch of family movie games/TV shows.
Predictable formula applies to alot of companies, so not really a Nintnedo exclusive, but considering Nintendo rely on themselves it matters more.
I voted for 3d Mario however I will by it the insatant any of these games is released for it:

Already have one and the system is a paperweight until Bayonetta 2 comes out. Is this game even 2013?FlamesOfGreyMost likely not. If it is it will be late 2013 like November-ish... I feel it'll be february 2014 though.
[QUOTE="nintendoboy16"][QUOTE="Blabadon"]Super Mario Galaxy 3. I will buy your system for this game Nintendo, do you hear me?BlabadonI'd say, like Metroid Prime, let SMG end. SMG1 was a masterpiece and an SMG2 (which felt more like an expansion pack) wasn't necessary (not to mention, it doesn't even have a bigger punch compared to something like how Sonic 3 had a bigger punch than Sonic 2). And yet SMG2 somehow topped the original and fixed issues I didn't even realize existed at first. Like... ?

Okay lets see:
1. Much better hub world, since there was none really at all. I would rather have none than the sh*tty one in Galaxy that detracts from the overall game.
2. Powerups and tools to use were much better, and Yoshi was a very nice touch in many stages.
3. No more Luigi playthrough. Can swap whenever you want, and the extra 120 stars is actually MUCH funner to get instead of a retread.
4. Better level layout imo. Plus S world was just awesome.
5. Stingray races were done away with and the rolling ball stages were much better imo (S world comes to mind again). I also liked the bird flying missions more than the stingray ones myself.
6. No more of those garbage blow up stages.
7. Lubba is awesome. Wood people are awesome.
8. Camera is better, controls are tighter for underwater parts.
9. More nostalgic and awesome homages to SM64.
Plenty more as well. Not to knock on SMG 1, but it was overall much worse to me than 2.

None because im a graphics whore and i don't buy systems that support 720p in 2013. That's not the only problem tho. For me to buy a Nintendo console they gotta release as many great titles as N64 had and i haven't seen this happening three gens in a row so gl to that, Nintendo.silversix_You're so hardcore...

Easily overlookable in my opinion. If you ask me, the power-ups and Yoshi add as much as new units in Starcraft: Brood War.
I personally thought re-playing the game as Luigi was tons of fun, but eh, it's like picking between Emulation and Similar hardware for Backwards Compatibility
I didn't think the ball-rolling stages were that much better from SMG1. Even flying the damn bird falls under similar instances of annoying
I'll give you that, one level in particular was REAL annoying in SMG1
Camera didn't feel that much different to me, nor did underwater segments.

If there is one major gripe I have with both games... BOWSER IS A WIMP!
Nintendo hasn't been making games for gamers like me for a long time now. Zelda was the only game left I feel like having but after trying Skyward Sword I now know that Nintendo has given up on real gaming and relies on gimmick controls to stay alive.
So to answer the real question... "What would make me support a company that no longer makes games I like?".... I guess a complete change in company direction and focus. Something I don't see happening any time soon.
FragTycoon
This for me pretty much.

I'm not going to buy it for a new Zelda, Metroid, SSB, or even Mario. I want to see something new perferably with more adult themes, more story and character development with higher presentation values, also not anime styled.
I would also want to see a game that has a strong online MP mode, but considering even Sony really hasn't made something that rivals Halo or Gears (IMO), seeing something huge for online gamers from Nintendo is probably a pipe dream.
Name change, pro controller standard, better gpu, cpu, more ram. Basically if it was a true next gen console.Kaszilla1/10Â
1 the tablet has all the buttons of that  pro controller,  plus a touch screen and motion what is the problem? Â
2 -those mean nothing when i t comes to  great gameplay ,   gameplay is more important then how far you can see the buildings in a distance ,Â
3 it is a true next gen console ,   -its got 2x the ram of last gen consoles already,  if you want a power house get a pc cause we all know ps4 wont be that much greater considering it to has a weak cpu  because both wiiu and ps4 will utilize a  ggpu  ,   this is the next gen deal with it , Â
Metroid: Other M 2, Metroid: Dread or Super Adventure Island 3.Zeviander
The bolded, minus the awful story.

Yeah can't really argue direct opinions for the most part since that never gets anywhere. :)
The camera was only slightly better to me probably because of the level layout and areas you go to probably making it seem different imo. Its probably not changed at all but I could be wrong.

I think I was the only one who loved the Ball Rolling stages in both games but I still think SMG2 is better then SMG.[QUOTE="MirkoS77"]I don't know. Was thinking solely of Zelda. Â Yes, treat us like adults. Â I don't see any games from Naughty Dog and Activision informing me that keys are used to unlock doors, do you? Â Or needlessly redundant tutorials that kill the pacing of the game early on. Â Or repeating the same info over and over and over. If so, which ones? Â It has nothing to do with content really, but much more how it is approached.
Got my U on sale at Costco about a month ago in anticipation for MH3U. Â Picked up MH3U last friday. Â Put 40 hours into it so far in one week. Â Game is incredible. Â Its like a game of just epic boss fights. Â No clutter. Â Just epic boss fights. Â
[QUOTE="Blabadon"][QUOTE="locopatho"]1 doesn't get a 10 from me because -Awful camera at times -Awful controls at times -Dreadnought Galaxy These are the only things I didn't like about the first Galaxy immediately after I collected my 120th star. The list grew slightly bigger after I played the second game. Also, not to say this in a rude way, but could you link me those levels in 2? I swear, I remember every level in the game except these ones. I think one of them involved Fire Mario right? Yeah camera and motions could be annoying. (...am I allowed say just let me use a fvcking 360 pad? :P) Not a problem :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHY17ZEpzbM Those lucky Dolphin users can, I think. And yeah, that level sucks. At least they're not throwing bombs with overly specific explosion radii like the first game. They did. I hated them in Galaxy 1. Literally couldn't believe they brought them back. Rehashing/revisitng boss fights, fine! The worst stars in 1 tho? No perfect 10 from me cos of that :P
