what happened to all the threads saying "Nintendo Dont Care"

I use to love these threads. It was all the rage to proclaim Nintendo was only concerned about Soccer Moms couple months back and only wanted there money with games like Wii-Fit and Wii-Slap-In-Face and blah blah blah but none of these threads now?! Nintendo didnt just start caring again for some unknown reason so why none of these lousy but hilarious threads anylonger?! C'mon System Wars the ugly truths of your opinions have come back again to haunt you.

I suppose it was just fuel for the fire againsnt nintendo with Sony and MS Fanboys.

I think they stopped caring about Nintendo caring.

They're gone because its a fact that everybody knows to death. If you ever make a Wii hate thread these days all your going to get is responses saying "Yeah, yeah we know." Bashing the Wii is just too easy.

Fighting over 2nd place finally tired them out I think.

They all found out that Microsoft and Sony don't care also.

Because now the Wii has opened 2010 with a huge bang, amassing easily the most AAE titles among the consoles with No More Heroes 2, Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, Monster Hunter 3, Red Steel 2, Rage of the Gladiator (amazed it got good reviews), and Cave Story (ok it was on PC a while ago... and I even have it on this very computer.... but they're all emulators anyway, AAA on Metacritic). The PS3 is rivaling it right now with an equally good lineup, but the 360 has yet to get a true AAE title this year. And Nintendo hasn't even let out the big guns yet. I don't wanna hear about Halo Reach... ok! Got it! It's gonna be a great game, I'm definitely going to buy it and I'm even gonna start subscribing to Live for the game since the MP is so fun. But it's one game. Nintendo has the big 3, Mario, Metroid, and Zelda, all have yet to come out. And THAT is why these threads don't exist anymore.oldkingallant

The Wii's 2010 lineup can't even touch the surface of the 360's great start. The 360 has gotten Mass Effect 2, Bayonetta, Bad Company 2, Resonance of Fate, Bioshock 2, FFXIII, SC: Conviction, Just Cause 2, Darksiders, and Metro 2033. So how are those not "true" AAE titles if Red Steel 2 is? And I'm sorry to tell you this, but even your precious Wii games are only good "for a Wii game".

And don't even get me started on upcoming games, congrats the Wii has 3 games. 360 still has Crackdown 2, Red Dead Redemption, GR: Future Soldier, UFC 2010, Halo: Reach like you said, Lost Planet 2, Crysis 2, Brink, and much much more on the way.

Personally, I think youre right; Nintendo has a cracking exclusive lineup this year that fits my taste and needs better than the exclusives on the other two consoles.

However, when taking multiplats into account, I would pitch the Wii at about equal, at least for the first chunk of the year, as we dont really know about holiday stuff yet.

My worries are that Nintendo are going to repeat the mistake they made for the last couple of years, by releasing all of their heavy titles in quick succession and having a first party drought thereafter.

Fake Edit: Dont try and attack me for my opinion that the Wii games are better - what I mean by that is they suit my tastes more. I shouldnt really have to spell that out, but it is System Wars after all.

they probably sold their wii and enjoy the HD consoles gaming too much to bother repeating something that everyone already know.

Multiplat. Nobody needs a 360 for those. You could argue it doesn't matter since they are still on 360, but the care-level is like split in 2,5 because of it. I need a wii for awesome, but don't need a 360 for anything.KungfuKitten

They're not even comparable line up's.

One is full of niche games and one is full of mass market titles like you mentioned.

Niche games are just that. Either really liked by some or really hated, where as those mass market titles usually have consistent critical reception.

Also it comes down to choice. I have a 360 and I hate the 2010 line up. I only bought Bayonetta and I want super street fighter IV, everything else doesn't interest me and the Wii has a lot more titles that do..
