What has Xbox One done for gaming?

IMO, this gaming generation so far completely sucks. The "winning" platform is king of the turds. That said, I hope and expect things to eventually change with the libraries, but it's taking too long.

It does make me wonder if I never spent time on my Xbox machines accruing a sizable 125,000+ gamerscore playing tons of Xbox games, owning multiple Xbox machines, buying the Xbox 1 OG, 360, and Xbone at their launches, having a decade+ old Xbox Live account, playing Xbox, 360, Xbone games with fellow Xbox posters on Xbox Live, and buying tons of Xbox collectibles what adjective would be used to describe me? "Mega" is pretty top tier, which is commendable, I suppose.

Notice I refrained from calling you anything despite your name calling and setting aside the fact I remember your previous attacks on my character since you were brand new to SW because that sir would be uncouth. Don't think I didn't remember though.

If anything, I'm a System Wars gentleman. You have yet to post any sweet details of your game IDs for us, or at least some fun pictures. :( Maybe one day SW will all get together and we will set aside differences with game time (I've played with 100+ Gamespotters, but the hold outs bum me out).

I don't why it bothers you so much that I call you a cow: in SW, it doesn't matter what you own; what matters is what you Stan for. You Stan for Sony consoles and never correct misinformation against the Xbox. Which there's nothing inherently wrong with; everyone's allowed a preference and at least your posts are halfway intelligent if long-winded. I do prefer Sony over MS's offerings, I don't think that's any secret especially with what looks like a resurgence of JP developer love coming from the east.

But slightly caring about something is a pretty big difference from the emotional roller coaster ride some of our more colorful posters go through quite regularly.

But without it this just wouldn't be SW, so I guess it doesn't matter.

MS rushed the console into the market cuz every game on Xbox One is on X360 like all 4 Halo games ONLY 2 OF MCC ARE ON 360/ Gears 1( X1 looks same as X360) halo spartan assault/ Titanfall (BRAND NEW IP)/ Rise of the TR ( 360/PS4/ PC). KINDA OF LIKE HOW UNCHARTED COLECTION/THE LAST OF US/JOURNEY/GOD OF WAR 3/HEAVY RAIN. MS is STILL buying Timed exclusives (facepalm) with Rise of the TR KINDA OF LIKE THE COD DLC TIMED EXCLUSIVE BUT GUESS THATS OK COZ ITS SONY which shows me that they have no faith in there own game KINDA OF THE SAME WITH ALL THE REMASTERS AND THE QUALITY OF THEIR EXCLUSIVES BAR ONE titles which is just spamming out Forza/ sunset overdrive tanking ONLY 1 OF THEM/ X1 games on X360 & games like Crackdown & Quantum Break which both the developers have not made a single game to sell well like past games such as Alan Wake which sold terribly & Crackdown which is a pretty awful game & who in the mainstream/ hardcore gamer would buy a Xbox One for this lol? While the PS4 brings gamers the best possible experience in console gaming, with mind blowing graphics (The Order-1886 can only be outdone by Sony. Graphically speaking, Ryse looks like an 8-bit game in comparison, and that's all Xbone has is Ryse to brag about), a better controller, stability and the most highly anticipated exclusives alongside more third party, and the Wii U even offers top-notch exclusives like Smash Bros, NintendoLand, DKCRTF etc...what has Microsoft done?

Broken backwards compatibility. (mass effect plays like shit on Xbone)

Lackluster exclusives.

Lies from Microsoft. (I.E cloud power PR, always online, Tomb Raider labeled an exclusive by Phil Spencer, broken promises related to Halo MCC, allegedly 300,000 servers yet X1 goes down for "maintenance", dynamic resolution PR, DX12 powers, exclusives PC bound, etc etc)

Flat bumpers on controller making the 360 and PS4 controller superior in handling.

Crappy Games With Gold offerings. Remember Volgar the Viking? What about "So many Me" and Massive Chalice? <<<terrible. PSN has never offered anything this low in quality.

So, seeing as we're all gamers on this forum...what exactly does Xbox One offer that gives you more of a reason to own it over a PS4 (destined to be the best console to date) a capable PC (arma, red orchestra 2 and all the tacti-cool games) or a Wii U?

SolidTy has always been a Manticore as well as I am a Manticore. But however, if you'll want my honest opinion, I actually like playing on Xbox consoles then I do on PlayStation consoles but that doesn't mean that I hate Sony, I just have a preference depending on the game I'm playing and most of all, I have lots of friends on XBL then PSN.
