I chose Ratchet and Clank because they've stood the test of time the most and still come up trumps
Others either ended are too young or had some real stinkers (Uncharted 3, GOW:A)
If games with follow-ups that aren't out yet like Soul Sacrifice count, then I'm going with Gravity Daze. :p
Uncharted, Siren, and Wipeout all deserve nods from me as well.
FUUUUUUUUUU, I forgot Wipeout and Gravity Rush
The Last of Us fo sho

mine is Uncharted followed by god of war
@cain006: I agree. There are several good games up there, but nothing that strikes me as being a "great" game...
I went with other because most Sony franchises are pretty meh...maybe Infamous is the best of the bunch, but that's not saying a lot, hopefully TLOU becomes a franchise since that is easily Sony's best game in years.
Other.
Most of those franchises are decent but not good. Uncharted is good though.
I'll have to say Twisted Metal 1, 2 and Black. Does Twisted Metal count?
And I forgot Twisted Metal too.
Parappa da rappa, son
Not Sony, unless they had the rights to the IP or something. Major Minor is made by the same people and is on the Wii.
I was completely kidding, Ive never even played one. GoW is my favorite Sony franchise

Oh lol I do like Parappa though but not more than Um Jammer Lammy lol

Actually yes Sony. They do have the rights because PaRappa and Um Jammy are Sony IPs. The developer was free to do what they want, sort of like Platinum games, Rainbow Studios, or Insomniac, but the IPs stay behind. Nintendo let Namco make a Starfox and Mario Kart game, but they remained a Nintendo IP. Capcom created the Zelda Four Swords concept and other Zelda games for Nintendo, but those IPs remain with Nintendo. Even Tecmo got their hands on the Metroid series, although that too remained a Nintendo IP. Bungie created Halo, but the IP is not theirs, and now they are creating a new game Destiny while Halo will live on with new devs.
This is par for the course. Recently we saw the release of Batman Arkham Origins developed by a new studio (not Rocksteady), but the IP still belongs with Warner.
Here's a SW thread from six years ago about the Parappa being a Sony IP.
Also, Sony recently pulled PaRappa out of retirement for an appearance in Playstation All Stars Battle Royale. I know a lot about IPs, lol.

I would say Uncharted and Gran Turismo as those are pretty recognizable franchises. I wish Legend of Dragoon was a franchise. If only Sony would make a dam sequel.
Uncharted 2 was fucking fantastic and better than anything else in the poll, but the first game was nothing special.
Honestly, Sony's franchises are not really that interesting, though their first party is pretty clearly stronger than MS's even despite their FPS franchise being inferior to Halo and their racing franchise inferior to Forza.
Killzone, God of War, Ratchet and Clank and Gran Turismo are probably Sony's most important series, for better or worse.
