Simple question really, I want to know what the people of SW think is straight up the best new I.P of the 7th gen. I am struggling to decide between ME and UC, personally...
Valkyria Chronicles. Even though it did go downhill and was outsourced to Media Vision. If SEGA would authorize a full title (the PSP titles aren't even the full capabilities of the PSP), it would have the chance to be amazing again.
Loved ME1 for it's story and RPG element, but combat wasn't that great. Loved ME2 for it's improved combat system, but hated the dumbed down RPG elements.
Loved everything about Gears 1's campaign and multi-player. But I didn't enjoy Gears 2's campaign at all, but multi-player was still good.
Haven't played Gears 3 yet, so I can't comment on it.
I voted Uncharted but that could be because I'm currently playing it and I'm loving it so far.
I still need to finish the first then play Among Thieves. Then Christmas I want to get Drake's Deception.
I was planning on skipping this series all together.

:shock: Why?I purchased a PS3 last October and I didn't want to play catch up I'm 4 years late for Uncharted 1 and I'm 2 years late for Uncharted 2. But I decided to purchase the Uncharted Dual Pack since it was cheap so I changed my mind.
I voted Uncharted but that could be because I'm currently playing it and I'm loving it so far.

How much did the Dual Pack cost?$40 which is still cheap since it is two relatively new games for a little more then half the price of a new PS3 game.
In terms of something truly original, and not some mashup of existing franchises, I'd have to go with Assassin's Creed. The combination of sci-fi and historical fiction creates a very well-strung narrative and believable world.
