[QUOTE="Technoweirdo"][QUOTE="Gamer556"][QUOTE="DeathScape666"]Brawl. The amount of modes and all the extra little additions just make it godly like. But really, it's the combat that kicks the crap out of Soul Calibur IV's. It's different. The characters aren't in close proximity, and there's just a lot of noticeable differences.

You're way off.
I don't understand how fighting with cartoonish characters can be fun. To eaches own I guess.
Looking through the Wii's entire gaming library is like lookng through PG movies. Theres only select few M rated games and there terrible like Red Steel and Far Cry.
maybe you dont like fighters and only voted against the wii to let you platform look better ?

He does have a point.Brawl puts more of a emphasis on maneuverability (jumping and running) than the average fighter which is usually close ranged.

Brawl is the worst game I've ever played.
No, it isn't. You are just saying that to show your extreme dislike for a highly popular game, but I'm sure there a lesser known games that have scored poorly that you disliked even more.
If you haven't, then I'm seriously surprised.
No I played the Wii at my friends house and I must say Zelda and Brawl are boring and the Wii is a childish console IMO.
You just lost all credibility with that statement. :|
There's a difference between "kiddy" and "family friendly fun."
Maybe if the Wii was out back in 98 then I would have fun with it but its geared towards young gamers.
The Wii shoes gamers that it's not all about being the best all the time btu actually ahving fun. We don't need M rated games to do that but somehow we lost track of this concept
as a traditional fighting game, SCIV is obviously better.
that being said, i believe SSBB can be just as balanced IF and only IF all the items are off including the final smashes.
as for me, i prefer brawl because SC games are too complicated to learn all the combos and everything for me. i just like how you can pick up smash and just play it almost as well as a world champion.
Ok, so Soul Calibur 4 has just released and after playing it the thought came to my mind of.....which is a better fighting game, Soul Calibur 4 or SSBB? Thoughts/opinionMikeE21286
All the sheep will vote SSBB...you should remove it for being lame.
Add in SSBM, far superior.
In any case. traditional fighting games wipe the floor with it

I don't have SC IV yet, but I do love Brawl. The online isn't great, but I've heard from friends that SC IV sure does compete with Brawl's online... :( That's not good to hear...

OK, that was an exaggeration. The game is still shallow as hell.
*Takes a look at your top rated games.*
What makes those games so deep, aside from a few, like Morrowind?
I couldn't even tell you what games I've reviewed right now. Never really got into to that feature. Besides, let's stick to the same genre. Compared to other fighting games, Brawl is extremely simple and unsatisfying. After a week of playing it I felt there was nothing more left to be done. In more traditional fighting games it takes much longer to master a character, and the competition level is usually much higher.
Not saying I'm a really good player after a week or anything, I just couldn't find a reason to keep playing (and neither could my friend, who owns it).

Brawl is alot less competetive then most fighter. Even Meele was more competetive.

actual the average character has at least 16 moves not using items or specials. some have loads more game and watch technically has 9 moves with one button combination. There was a very similar thread on the Soul Calibur 4 forum so I'll just copy and paste what I said there:
"This topic may has well be changed to "Are you a gimboid?"

Oh? Mind backing up your statement?
SC4 is just like all of the others.
SSBB reinvents the genre so people who dont even like fighters that much (like me) love the game. And the fact that there are over 40 characters just makes you want to buy it even more. If youre a fan of Snake, you'll buy it. Mario fanboy? Bought? Looking for a quality game starring sonic? Its a must-have.
For me, theres no contest.
SC4, because SSBB is not a fighting game to me. Don't get me wrong tho, SSBB is a great game, But it's like asking what's the best FPS between Halo3 and MGS4.Tykain
MGS4 IS NOT AN FPS AKA A FIRST PERSON SHOOTER. IT IS A STLEATH ACTION 3RD PERSON GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1:x
