Exclusives are great but you also need 3rd party support. Basically you will have a couple games per year but that is no where enough for a core gamer. I can't support buying a gaming system with no games. Nintendo needs to stop making consoles and just make their games multiplats.

[QUOTE="locopatho"] They did. After SNES, Nintendo consoles get 10s rather then 100s of good games though,Nintendo_Ownes7
depends on how much he games....
for me 30 quality games in 1 gen is enough.
For me the most games I ever had on one console is 26 games and that was the Wii.I usually average about 17 games per console per generation.
Sheep should mention this more. It suddenly makes sense why ye were so happy with the Wii. You'll easily get 4 good games a year even on a Nintendo console.[QUOTE="Nintendo_Ownes7"]For me the most games I ever had on one console is 26 games and that was the Wii.[QUOTE="KBFloYd"]

You do also know that owning=/=playing. I don't own many games but back when I gamed a lot I easily would play over 100 games for a system.
[QUOTE="Sushiglutton"]A really, really, really great Zelda game might tempt me. jun_aka_pekto
Same here.
No Zelda game at launch? I thought that was pretty silly.
Outside of a Twilight Princess port, Zelda NEVER makes a console launch.[QUOTE="jun_aka_pekto"]

They showed that tech demo. That's what a system seller looks like right there. If not Zelda, they should've had something high end to maximize their chances during their headstart year.

A game like that really demonstrates the system's potential.

Yeah but we aren't average, we are freaks who buy hundreds of games :P KBFloyd didn;t mention owning either, he just said "30 games a gen is enough"Exclusives are great but you also need 3rd party support. No, try again.
Nothing, the only franchise I care about from nintendo is mario abd I don't really mind not playing any new ones

I don't know why Nintendo comes out and shows a tech demo of Zelda, what everyone knows what a next-gen version could be and wishes for, and then when everyone gets excited shoots down everyone's hopes. Instead we end up getting SS, which looks like a GC game. That tech demo was amazing, but I don't think it will ever be realized because Nintendo will be Nintendo. MAYBE the new one will look like it, but I'm willing to bet it'll look a tiny bit better than SS did, with HD.Â

You'll easily get 4 good games a year even on a Nintendo console. But it is 17 games per console per generation so if I have atleast two consoles and one handheld which I always do it is atleast 51 games that I own per generation. I don't have enough money to purchase all the games I want usually if I don't get that game within the first few months I just skip it because I have other games I'm looking forward to getting. Please Log In to post.
