Online anything. I enjoy online multiplayer games, that's what I've found myself playing more of lately, but with the internet we now have to use pass codes for games, some games aren't even complete because you "have to buy dlc" to access other portions, and that dlc is distributed throught the internet. Basically gaming has gone down hill with the inclusion of the internet.
Is King Diamond even around still? I haven't listen to him in ages. I had to look at your sig twice. At first I thought King Diamond, then I looked and was like no, but looks sorta like it. Then I saw you avatar and was hell no, it is.Abundance of Shooters

This isn't exactly something new this gen and as far as I can tell it got better. I remember the Sega-Nintendo System Wars and it was much worse IMO
I mean this forum. Going here has made me enjoy games less.
One thing I can't stand is constant padding. A lot of open world games do this. The developers are so concerned about how little content there is in their games that they throw in all these banal tasks to extend the life of the game. Just look at something like Assassins Creed 1. If you took the investigations out of that and the ridiculously twitchy AI you'd have a very short game. Mafia 2. If you had a fast travel mode in that and didn't have to do stupid things like clean urinals and go home after a mission that game would last barely 5 hrs.
I don't mind COD as a franchise but its frustrating that developers think that their game won't sell unless it looks like COD. I mean you even had the same regenerative health in the recent Harry Potter game.
