Ah you learned how to read, and found the right thread? Good for you bro! :)
Lightning doesnt strike twice. The fluke of the wii selling like mad isnt happening again. People arent accepting another weak, overpriced, drought filled console from them. Not when ps4 is coming.locopatho
This. The price is too high for most people. Cut dat Price! And When Mario Kart Comes out, make a Mario Kart 8 Bundle with delux Wii U for $299.00. See Nintendo, so obvious a SW poster can solve it!
They can drop it to 199$ and i doubt it'll sells enough

Poor guy. Must be hard to irrationally hate an inanimate object.

Do not feel bad. I do it too. I really hate on carrots. They are just gross. And when people cook them they are even worse. I like Corn so that makes me canned corn fanboy! See we have alot in common! Whaoo!!
the wiiu doesn't even need a blockbuster killer ap imo. It just needs a few simple games that are really inventive and original. Something really endearing and charming. ZombiU lacked in execution and didn't have an upbeat feel. Pikmin 3 is incredibly charming but it is not original enough, and wasn't even designed with the tablet in mind. Nintendoland has everything right, but the individual games are too shallow to be truly impactful.
I was playing SimAnt on SNES a while back. Imo the wiiu could use something like that. A stat based game that relies on multiple window screens with a really clever premise. It doesn't need long dev time or huge dollars behind it. Just make it fun.
Wii U - 0.3tflop gpu, X1 - 1.2tflop, PS4 - 1.8tflop
Also no games, terrible online, and well... not even gimmick appeal to casuals.
The system itself? very low storage space/hard drive and weaker online compared to the competition, and currently not much of a library supporting it. Would not be bad if the selling point was lower.
Outside of that, Nintendo's handling of the Wii U has been terrible. Practically non-existant marketing + terrible name choice = nobody knows WTF the Wii U is. Waiting so damn long to release some interesting games on the system and thus wasting their advantage (maybe NIntendo shouldn't have released the system so early). A pointless basic model (finally discontinued) and bad pricing, and no price cut or bundle announced yet to make up for this. And overall just an lack of effort from Nintendo it seems.

Nintnedo has not yet taken advantage of the controller! What is the point of the controller if its not used other than gimick.
Nintendo should be doing a lot better! Nintendo can and should lead, follow or get out of the business.
NEW IP... NEW IP.... NEW IP.... that is good, and uses the controler in a good way. DO that and I will buy a Wii U.
1) name: the system doesn't seem like a new system to the casuals.
2) Its hardware. Its simply still a part of the current gen. Time to compete with sony and ms in terms of hardware. Low HD space, relatively weak gpu compared to next gen consoles.
3) its gimmick touch screen incorporated into the controller. Fine have that as a separate buy. BUT just give the consumers a normal controller.
4) lack of multiplat support. (kinda as a result of the hardware).
5) games. None of the system sellers are out.
6) price is just too damn high

Yeah....yeah...WiiU it's capable of playing games like Mass Effect 3, Batman Arkham City, and Assassin's Creed 3 games that i already have play and i can play better on PS3/XBOX360.[QUOTE="AtariKidX"][QUOTE="LegatoSkyheart"]
3rd Parties can't be bothered with it.
Gamers can't be bothered with it.
Casuals can't be bothered with it.
No one can bother it.
The system itself? It's fine, it's capable of playing games like Mass Effect 3, Batman Arkham City, and Assassin's Creed 3, heck it's getting Watchdogs.
But why are 3rd Parties not bothered with it? Maybe sales are just too low for them. Maybe they have extreme bias on Nintendo. Maybe they just want more power to please the Graphic loving crowd. Who knows, but they're right about WiiU not selling too well for their tastes, even Ubisoft who is giving WiiU more games isn't pleased.
WiiU is an ok System, it just doesn't have the appeal Nintendo wanted.

Wiiu is not even getting Fifa or Madden. That is the definition of a dead system.
Are they not getting a Football or Soccer game at all?? Not even Mario Soccer or Mario Football??I wonder if people will be asking what's wrong with PS4 and XBox One when they do mild sales and have a thin launch lineup.Avatar_Taxidousprobably not because their are still plenty of games on PS3 to play, if the Wii had more games to play the pressure on Wii U would not be so bad.
