Dude that came across as elitist to the extreme, so what if the guy was 5 when Tupac was killed, he can still be a fan.

Im a huge Jimi Hnedrix fan, and he died in 1970, thirteen years before i was born, imagine giving somebody crap because they like Mozart ect, but they are not 200+ years old.

Im not the biggest Rap/Hip Hop fan ever, but come on that was a little unfair on the poor guy.

But since I did not live in "their time", I don't find it justifiable to use their image as my avatar which is a digital extension of myself. I am not a huge fan of Tupac, but it kills me when people try to emulate something that they can't really relate to no matter how hard they try. If that is elitist, then so be it.

Well, this is Gamespot, and my avatar is from TES: Oblivion (Knights of the Nine in fact). I actually played the game using that set of armor, so yeah, I think I can relate. Maybe if they had a 2Pac video game... :roll:

Id like to say i know where you are coming from with that train of thought, but unfortunatley i dont, it seams like you're taking this guys expression of his interests rather personal.

How do you know this guy isnt one of the biggest Tupac fans?, He might have every album and single release, he might have all the movies he stared in, could have had a similar childhood, you cant possibly guess how he can or cant relate to tupac, making asumptions about the guy seams a little petty.
