Good taste dude.

But since I did not live in "their time", I don't find it justifiable to use their image as my avatar which is a digital extension of myself. I am not a huge fan of Tupac, but it kills me when people try to emulate something that they can't really relate to no matter how hard they try. If that is elitist, then so be it.

How do you know this guy isnt one of the biggest Tupac fans?, He might have every album and single release, he might have all the movies he stared in, could have had a similar childhood, you cant possibly guess how he can or cant relate to tupac, making asumptions about the guy seams a little petty.

It's not about being petty. It's about respect. I am distantly related to the original members of Lynard Skynard and I would be skeptical of someone who was their "biggest fan" being born after their death. That's all. Sometimes you don't have the right to take ownership. Ok, I'm done. /Rant.

Its not that, its the fact that when Biggie and Tupac where alive they had a fan following but nothing to the extent of what they had when they died. There were alot of wannabees that jumped on the popular band wagon of appreciation when they died even though they didnt really care to listen to their music when they had the chance.

It may sound elitist but I do think some of the biggest fans of Tupac and Biggie were the fans of their work BEFORE they died. That doesnt mean he isnt a true fan at all but loving an artist before he is mainstream is one of those tests that show how true a fan a person is.

In threads like these, I always like to keep tabs of how many people will say, I'm xgoing on x. Young people often like to make themselves seem older by rounding up, even if their next birthday is half a year away, while older people never round up - and are more likely to make a point of pointing out how old they are, so no one else can do it for them.

People are fun.

How is life nearer the grave?

31 here. I always have just viewed gaming as being in the same category as watching movies, reading books or listening to music. In that age is irrelevant when it is just another form of media used for entertainment purposes, and it has something to offer everyone....not just jr.

The stereotype that 'gaming is for the kids' is one that I have always resented, and am sad to see still exists within certain groups that cannot accept the idea of a grown man playing video games. They seem to have this preconceived notion in their minds that since a lot of kids play video games, that all games in general must be kiddie as a result. That is society for you though, I suppose. Stereotypes FTL, lol.

I'm curious about what age the majority of SW posters are, even though I already have a good idea.
