What is your BIGGEST dissapointment so far?

For me it has to be Halo2, damn I hyped that game sooo much. I woke up with it, went to bed with it and dreamed about playing it:P

The game finnaly arrived in stores and I waited 30minutes in line with my buddy to get my hands on a copy. We both pre-ordered it months ago. I remember I was so happy and excited! We even got a special "limited edition"(lol) plastic Halo 2 bag to carry our copies home!:D Now we didn't have Xbox Live at that time but we couldnt care less about that. After all, we were used to play Halo on co-op together.

*5 hours (one sitting) later*

Admiral: "Master Chief, can you tell me what you're doing on that ship"

Master Chief: "Sir, finishing this fight!"

We went: "Awesome. we're going to earth! :D:D:D whoohoo!"

we sat there ready to get crackin on earth..and...

*End credits roll*

seriously, you should have seen our faces lol. Truly a Kodak moment. Biggest anti-climax in gaming for me:P

there've been a few

RARE not living up to past standards .. namely PDZ, and now the new banjo (i'll definately give it a chance but my first reaction wasn't so great)

nintendo's secrecy .. their conference was a huge disappointment .. i know great games will come eventually, but the wait is gonna be huge

too human .. i was disappointed as soon as i saw it .. knew it wasn't going to be my type of game .. a massive letdown after expecting something as great as Eternal Darkness

The Shooter Bandwagon turning all these fantastic classics into mindless shooters for the mindless kiddies.

For what dissapointed me the most, it would have to be nintendo's direction of games, not just during the Wii time, but mostly post N64, Donkey Kong was plainly murdered, sad to see this never even comes up, Nintendo might have lost rare, but is that enough reason to abandon it? Star Fox just isn't the same, Mario has still had decent releases, but none in the traditional platform format I loved him in, Zelda has maintained itself pretty well in some of its titles, but overall it hurts to see so many of my favorite franchises crash and burn. You have Pikmin and such that have gained ground, but nothing can really make up for it.

It might not be a very specific moment, but oh well. :P

my total play time was 17 hours in which I thinkonly 3-4 hours were spent playing while others were spent watching

You haven't beaten it until you get all 40 emblems. I've spent 60 hours on gameplay, and still not done. The Big Boss Emblem is the hardest, in which you have to beat the game within 5 hours with no continues, alerts, or kills on The Boss Extreme. See how long that takes you. I've also spent over 55 hours with MGO which was pretty much a giveaway.

when i first played MGs4 and was like WTF is this!?!?!?!?!?!?

nobody warned me how bad it would really be. ive never played an MGS game before and i don't think i ever want to again....

I doubt you've even played the game as there are slightly under 8 hours of cutscenes no the 15 hours you say.
