What is your BIGGEST dissapointment so far?

huh you know i'm haveing trouble thinking of my biggest disappointment

i guess Live! people raved about it. i thought it would be this magical green wonder land... and it wasn't i though "i have to pay for this? um i don't think so" and i sold my 360.

Now we didn't have Xbox Live at that time but we couldnt care less about that. After all, we were used to play Halo on co-op together.

*5 hours (one sitting) later*

Admiral: "Master Chief, can you tell me what you're doing on that ship"

Master Chief: "Sir, finishing this fight!"

We went: "Awesome. we're going to earth! :D:D:D whoohoo!"

we sat there ready to get crackin on earth..and...

*End credits roll*

seriously, you should have seen our faces lol. Truly a Kodak moment. Biggest anti-climax in gaming for me:P

wow, it was exactly like that for me and my friend. lol. that kind of anti-ending at before midnight when you've already knocked back some Dew and a pizza. gah. It was still a great night though.

Biggest disapointment . . . Quake Wars on console, man I was excited for that game, how could it fail. It was Quake, it was BF style gameplay . . . it was ATROCIOUS. that, and the day my launch 360 died, when I went to take a break from writing a paper. I mean, that just sucked really hard. (and gave the Cows of the class opportunity to try to rip on me for "playing behind, instead of beyond" . . . god those kids were mindless souless sony fanboy ********). on the flip side, getting a new one back was like Christmas. . . . until that one died too. =/

So just gaming in general then?

My most disappointing moment was when my friend brought his wii over. I was so excited to play it and buy my own (I didnt have the money at the time). We popped in Red Steel, excited that you can turn your wii mote and the gun turns with it :D. Then we played it... I stopped wanting a wii after that. BTW that wasnt the only game we played.

Anyways, I would have to say the ending of Halo 3 was more dissapinting than the ending for Halo 2. I wanted to see his jourmey come to some kind of an end, but then we get the secret ending on Legendary. -.-

yea, for me its microsoft with the 360. great system but they cant fix the rrod problem in almost 3 years c'mon. im on my 4th one

i know before i got live people were like omg, xbl is the most awesome thing out there horaaa!

they i payed 150$ for the wifi, cause there was no chance in hell an eithernet was getting upstairs, and 50 bucks for the gold account, i was really underwhelmed at the content of the xblm and the overall package

• Oblivion, BioShock, GTA IV and Deus Ex: Invisible War.
• The decline of traditional role playing games.
• The closing of Black Isle and Troika.
• Bethesda getting the Fallout licence.
• But most of all...I wasn't there to participate in the PS_John thread. :cry:

For me it has to be Halo2, damn I hyped that game sooo much. I woke up with it, went to bed with it and dreamed about playing it:P

The game finnaly arrived in stores and I waited 30minutes in line with my buddy to get my hands on a copy. We both pre-ordered it months ago. I remember I was so happy and excited!
