What is your most disappointing game purchase so far this generation?

I have to say.. mine has to be Okami on the Wii. The beginning got me really hyped for the game, but nearlly three hours in and it is a bore-fest. I was hoping for a Zelda-esque experience, but haven't seen it at all so far. And on a tangent, the IGN on the boxart is extremely obvious. I could barely see it in pictures, but wow is it obvious on the box!

What about you people?

GTAIV...

Even though I enjoy the online once in a blue, the game is just boring...It definitely was not what I was looking for. Hell, I enjoy Assassin's Creed more...and that game was awesome to me.

Wario Ware smooth moves.

Proof that Jeff really isn't as good as a reviewer as most people make him out to be.

dead rising and not for the reason you might think, its because I don't have an HDTV so the reading stuff I can't read on a SDTV so I just give up and not play it. That will soon change though when I get an HDTV this coming weekend.

Pure game play wise I would have to go with Lost Odyssey

A big disappointment if you ask me. I was also one of those idiots who were bashing gamespot for the 8.8... then I played it.

Wow, I was going to post pretty much exactly what you did as soon as I saw the title.

Yeah, boring combat really ruined it for me. Easy enemies and always being in that stupid circle= lame

I even played it for more then 11 hours, thinking it would get better considering all the praise it gets, but it never did.

A lot of stuff was removed in GTAIV. Crazy weapons,Tanks, Parachutes,Planes. Missions were also boring and dull.

I was kidding. One opinion can not be better then another.

With that said, I disagree with both of you.

F1:CE on PS3. I was desperate for a circuit racer, but man, did that suck. Then I was still desperate, was taken in by the new NfS promising to dump all the fast-and-furious garbage and go back to the track, and bought ProStreet. Man, did that suck.

Of course, I'm still waiting for a good circuit racer on PS3, so don't be surprised if I crack, buy Ferrari Challenge, and then post in a similar thread two weeks later about how it's a disappointment.
