RS2 is an amazingly fun game. Never played the first, but, from what I understand, they are completley different games and are similar in name only. Also, AC2 and AC Brotherhood are much better than AC1.

All absolutely amazing games.

Cryostasis and The Precursers. I can see why the latter has been forgotten, but Cryostasis had fantastic tech and a unique story, especially in how it was told to the player. I'm surprised people don't mention it here more, especially when they say the FPS genre is stagnating (if you can call the game an FPS).

I often have debates with myself whether or not this is the best game I played this entire gen

It's pure gaming genius at its most brilliant. I'm still trying to master all the insanely difficult challenges in this game. It's all about twitch reflexes and figuring things out on the fly.

Mount&Blade: Warband.

I cringe whenever I see Mirror's Edge and Enslaved on these lists. I appreciate DICE for trying, but they squandered every ounce of potential ME had (a lot), and Enslaved was unfinished in every way besides the story, and Ninja Theory opening their mouths have convinced me never to buy a game from them again.

Haha, worst game released this gen. XD Yeah right. Far from it buddy. Most of the people who say Sonic 06 is the worst game this gen haven't even played the damn game.

my gem of this generation probably goes to this. for anyone who played it they probably know what i mean. this game is extremely beautiful and im surprised it went very unnoticed by so many! i hope they eventually release a 2nd part. if you find all naija's lost memories you get the an ending that shows what happens next and leaves room for a 2nd adventure. this game was truly epic! if you love symphony of the night, metroid, and oceanic atmosphere... you'll love this game!

I was considering getting this. Heck I should probably play the demo I DL'd and see if I want it. I hear it has a similar style to metroid and zelda in the sense that there is a world that you progress through as you get more items and such. Sounds like an awesome game.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom. A few reasons why it wasn't cared for:

1. Sharing Mass Effect 2, MAG, and No More Heroes 2's release.

2. Eighting developed it.

3. Hardly anyone outside of Japan cares for Tatsunoko

Unreal Tournament III. For what it was, it was a really great game. It's a bit of a shame that the community's dead though. I hope Epic makes at least one more game in the series (and make it more like UT2004)

I need to say Kameo. I just replayed that game a few weeks ago and I thought it was fantastic, though a little short. I feel the game got forgotten due to the chaos that follows any system launch and Rare's stigma for being a bad developer. Nowadays people forget it exists.

yes its a progress and backtrack type of game where you acquire items and powers to gain access to previous inaccesible areas. the story is nice. the music is honestly one of the best i have ever heard in a game. awesome soundtrack. if you think i may be exagerating on the music just youtube some of the music. the visuals and art style one of the best i have ever seen. unlike metroid and zelda it actually has voice acting; and unlike symphony of the night the voice acting is supberb and spot on. i recommend you buy it asap but if you have the demo go ahead and give it a go. i recommend you watch this review which honestly is spot on in all his points and is actually the review that made me buy the game and he did not dissappoint at all. check this user review
