Hah. None of them. I play what I think is fun and great. Gameplay video is what I turn to. Doesn't take a genius to figure out what you like. See for yourself.Elann2008Reviews (from users or places like metacritic) can still be useful. Heck, I was intersted in Sword of Stars until I heard how much of a technical nightmare it became.

I would say a higher score on Gamespot because Metacritic takes account of a lot of unprofessional reviewers who are just bad at their job, whether they give a game a low score or a high score. Gamespot at least has a pretty high professionality about them.
That being said, scores don't matter much to me considering my favortie source of reviews is RPS anyways.
Deciding on purchasing a game based on just one review is ridiculous, you need see a variety of review so it's best to go on Metacritic to see what various critics gave a certain game. Now saying that if I want to get a game and I enjoyed the demo or trust the developers then I could care less what the critics gave it, but if I am not sure about a game I will go on Metacritic to see the range of reviews instead of just depending on GS.
Neither actually.
Take Nier for example.... Even with it's admittedly last gen feel, it's still one of the best jrpgs this gen, especially in regards to story.
And it has the most meaningfull New Game+ of any game this gen, a large part ofthe plot is in fact part of the second playthrough. Without spoiling anything, I'll just say that you get a new perspective and you can now understand what the shades say.
You may end up not feeling all that heroic ;) Oh, and Kayne is a hermaphrodite, it's just tragic rather than cheesy.
Review wise it's mediocre at best though.
