All I gotta say is...Wow that looks mighty impressive. I'm hoping next gen The Elder Scrolls looks like this. :shock:

WhatSkyrimLooks Like When Youre Running 100 Mods At Once

My copy ofSkyrimwould usually fall over once I started running more than, say, 8-10 mods at once. So I've got no idea how modder Unreal has managed to get around 100 mods running at once. I'm just going to assumesorcery.

His site catalogues the adventures his rig is taking running that much stuff at once, showcasing not only which mods he's got running (and why), but also some of the most impossibly beautiful screenshots I've ever seen for the game.

Seriously, the fact these are screens taken from a version of the game that's even remotely playable blows my mind. That grass (the one thing that does seriously hamper fps) looks like it travelled back in time from video games, circa 2017.

Quite purdy, but he mentioned in his FAQ that with his best grass mods (Which I'm guessing are the ones used on the screenshots) his fps drops to the 5-30 range. Still even in the more playable looking video it's really good looking.

I thought this was a bullshot thread when i saw that first picture, i thought it was a real life pic or something lol.

This is just stunning, on par with Crysis i'd say. Then again when you run Crysis with Mods there's no comparison right..

by the time worthwhile mods come out, im usually done with the game.

and being an adult with money, i have a hefty backlog of games i need to play. I used mods when i was a kid and had to play the same 1 or 2 games for the entire year because thats all i had for christmas/birthday money for.

i mean there are rare occurrences where mods can justify replaying a game, or multiplayer mods where they can change the game... but for the most part mods are worthless. Im not gonna replay skyrim because now there is 50% more grass.

I think this is a good indication of what next gen Elder Scrolls will look like in motion.

I've tried to use several ENBs and they all look pretty bad. I might be doing something wrong, but I feel like certain times of day will look good, while others just look bad. Also not too hot on the blurriness that accompanies the mod. AAllxxjjnn

I doubt they will look that good, unless you're talking about next gen and not the one that just started with Wii U. No way in f*ck are PS4/720/WiiU games gonna look that good.

I understand the ENB can look unatural at times (which is why I completely avoid it in all games), but to say any of those pics look like sh!t is a huge stretch...

This shot does not look good at all. Some of them look great but they're not the best looking Skyrim shots around

it's the common remark of someone who used one or two mods and didnt install them corectly or got some junk mod. I fail to see how someone could not enjoy new armors, weapons, houses, questlines, and spells. Stuff like that

I've tried to use several ENBs and they all look pretty bad. I might be doing something wrong, but I feel like certain times of day will look good, while others just look bad. Also not too hot on the blurriness that accompanies the mod. AAllxxjjnn
