What systems did you own last gen? This gen?

Last gen I gamed primarily on PS3. At some point I had a 360 and Wii but sold them pretty quickly after that. I also had a PSP and DS at some point too. I did game on PC, but mostly played StarCraft 2. This gen I have all systems. I appreciate all of them, but the 3DS has been my least played. I also own a gtx 970, but still prefer playing on my PS4 most. PlayStation is still my favorite, but at least the other two consoles are awesome in their own right too. What about you, SW?

I started off with the PS3. It had no games for a long time so I played PS2 games on it mostly. I got a 360 a year later. Then a gaming PC a year after that. It was around that time when PS3 exclusives were getting released like crazy so I primarily used that and my PC. I also had a DS and PSP. I never owned so many systems before other than in that generation. I will never do that again. A PC and one console for exclusives are all you need. Unless you have absolutely nothing else to do with your time (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Last-gen it was all 3, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. I got my Xbox 360 first in November2005 since it came out first. PS3 I got it at launch and paid $500 like a damn fool that I am, should have waiting for a price drop. Got a Wii cause well, it's Nintendo. Wii, I will always love you and hate you. At last-gen I had fun with all 3 consoles and no regrets. Played awesome games but I used my PS3 the most thanks to great library of exclusive games and free online and apps.

Last gen was PC and Wii. Yeah... didn't really get too much.

This gen is PC, Wii U, 3DS, and got a PS3 during this gen so.. don't know if that counts.

I'm holding out for some sales and games to play on next gen consoles. I'm probably going to pick up a Wii-U this year for Xenoblade and the library they've built up to the present. I'll look into a PS4 next year when The Last Guardian comes out, but at the moment it's pretty slim pickings for games on that console. The Xbox One... I'll wait until the end of the generation when I can pick it up for $100 if at all.

360 from 2005 to now (collecting dust and haven't been turned on since 2013). PS3 from 2009 until 2013 when i sold it. Now own ps4 and pc if that counts.

this gen i have a pc, xbone, 3ds, vita and im going to buy a wii u this year

no idea if i'll ever get a ps4. don't see much of a reason to own one in the near future.

PC is best both gens.

For consoles, last gen I had PS3 > Wii > 360. Honestly I only used my 360 for two games then sold it. This gen, I have a PS4 and Wii U

Last gen: Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, DS.

I'd rank them Xbox 360 as my preferred system where I played all my multiplats. Followed by PS3, but mainly because I had a full BC PS3 and played a lot of PS2 games still. Then I'd choose DS over PSP after that.

Current gen: Wii U, Xbox One, 3DS... still planning on getting a PS4, eventually, pretty sure I am.

I'd rank it as Xbox One as my primary favorite system. Followed by my 3DS, which I play a lot of out of the house... or did anyways, anyhow, play it more than my Wii U by far, but I still bust my Wii U out when the important stuff comes out. And it's worth noting I probably have had a greater love of my 3DS than I ever had for my DS. Though, overall, my patience is starting to grow thin with Nintendo.

First had an old Alienware.

Then good ole mommy bought me an 360.

Then I bought a gaming rig. Upgraded to a GTX 680 after 2 years or so.

Then bought a PS3.

Now still own my PS3 and my gaming rig....add a PS4 to the mix.

I had all of them last gen and all of them this gen. I don't like having my choice of games limited due to not owning a particular system, so I buy everything.

The Xbox 360 was my primary system last gen and the Xbox One is my primary system this gen because they have my preferred controller and online service.

I only used my Wii and PS3 for exclusives last gen and the same is true for my PS4 and Wii U this gen.

My PC was only used for strategy games last gen (I prefer to play all other genres on console) and this gen my PC is used for strategy games but also virtual reality games once the Oculus Rift is released.

My DS and PSP last gen like my 3DS and Vita this gen are only reservered for situations where I can't play my consoles and don't have anything else to do for an extended period of time like during airplane rides, doctor appointment waits, and hurricanes.

Last gen: Owned all 3 at one stage, but mostly gamed on PS3.

This gen: Again, owned all 3 at one stage, but now only have Xbone (which will be my main console for this gen).

7th Gen: Xbox 360
8th Gen: PS4

Owned all of the major platforms at one time, only system that I sold was the Wii. Still have PS3, X360 x2, 3DS, Vita, PS4 and PC.

Last gen I started out with a 360 but it was during that time where a lot of them were getting the RROD. I ended up getting sick of it and getting rid of the 360 and getting a PS3. I ended up building a PC in about 2012 and the PS3 started gathering dust apart from a few exclusives. This gen I still have the PC, got an Xbox One and a 3DS planning on getting a PS4 when Uncharted comes out, the Wii U doesn't really interest me.

I wont be buying anymore nintendo handhelds or consoles. I am done with them. As for microsoft, I think they will quit making consoles because they have yet to make any money on the xbox brand.

I owned all systems last gen, and the gen before that. Though I never get them all at once, I usually space out console purchases by 2 or 3 years (360 was my last purchase last gen, and I didn't get that until like 2011).

This gen just PS4 so far and I actually just got that a few months ago (Batman bundle). Not alot of reasons to get Xbox One yet, and actually I've still been playing on my PS3 a ton (still trying to cram through my PS3 backlog before i start building my PS4 backlog anymore than it is).

I owned everything last gen.

I just own a PS4, PC and 3DS this gen and honestly it's all I need. I used to have a Wii U and Vita but I sold them since I don't have time in my life for gaming as much as I used too.

last gen i had the lot and bought all the consoles and handhelds close to launch. i regretted that decision because i only ever really used my PC, wii and DS.

So this gen i have rules about buying consoles/handhelds: only when enough games arrive that interest me. so far i have a PC, a 3DS, a vita and a wiiu. i bought the 3DS after its first price cut (that launch price was taking the whiz). i sorta took a punt at the vita as it was getting a lot of praise and i saw some games that interested me. im glad i did: great handheld. i got a wiiu around 18 months after launch for a good price so im also happy with that.

so far none of the exclusives for the PS4 or X1 are really grabbing my attention. horizon on the PS4 looks interesting and platinums X1 exclusive also has my attention a bit. but not enough to really tempt me to pick either up yet.

Had a fat ps3 60gb that played the ps2 and ps1 game during the whole of last gen. Now I just have a PC.

There are far too many games for me to play on the X1 to even consider getting another system. I honestly do not understand why people buy so many systems. It's weird.

I haven't owned a Sony console since the original Playstation. So there's quite a few Sony games I haven't played. Because of that I'm kinda happy so many remasters are being released on PS4.

That's perfectly understandable. Frankly, getting a cheap PS3 and playing through the various collections would be a better bet than a PS4 in your case. Then resell the PS3.
