I expected to get these type of responses. Honestly, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption must be really under-appreciate if it can't be put next to those games.

I just knew you had to put a Nintendo Wii game up there seeing how much of a fan you are of Nintendo. But still, you should have atleast said Metroid Prime 3 in your post, not the poll...actually, why bother making a poll when you can't fill all the games up?

Metroid Prime 3 was one of my favorite games of 2007 but it's not really a shooter so I wouldn't include it on this list.

I'd probably pick either Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4.

Metroid Prine 3 should not be on there. Sorry that you're a nintendo fanboy, but it doesn't need to be there.

Crysis, CoD 4, Halo 3 and STALKER should be the list.

I'd name a PS3 game, but we didn't get any great exclusive FPS's. Maybe if you had half a mind your Wii fanboyism would allow you to admit the same.

As I don't really consider MP3 to be an FPS I would say COD4 for sure

But as a general shooter MP3 would come second

I'm kinda glad bioshock isn't up there, it's pretty much SS2 steampunk syle with all the corners cut, heck, Fountain might as well be Shodan. Also the roleplaying element got beaten with a stick and left to die somewhere be the developers.JC360

alot fo quality in the FPS area last year. but overall i enjoyed MP3 the most. im playing it again and it really just feels lke a pleasure to play.

i must give stalker another go mind. i got it at launch and had some nasty problems. then other games came around and it sorta went off my radar. i hear there has been extensive patching since release though so i must give it another whirl.

but yeah, MP3 for me. crackin game.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption got its fair share of rewards, too.

It got a 9.5 on IGN, while CoD 4, Crysis, and some other game got a 9.4. BioShock was the only one to outscore Prime 3 on IGN. The whole of The Orange Box, Halo 3, and Prime 3 all got 9.5.

Also, it averaged a 90 percent on GameRankings if we round up. STALKER got an 81 or 82 percent, and Crysis only got a 91 percent.

On Game Trailers, there were five nominations for Game of the Year 2007. They were Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, BioShock, Mass Effect, and Halo 3.

Prime 3 has a higher user score than Crysis.

I know, this is GameSpot, right? It's not like it did bad here, but it didn't do as good as other FPSs in 2007, the high quality ones. It got an 8.5, but that's the same score STALKER got.

In the end, Prime 3 has gotten serious amounts of praise, and it's worthy of it all, and then some.
