[QUOTE="Heirren"]I've been playing Metroid since NES. It's always been a cinematic game, of sorts. Who is to say the plot can't be a little more fleshed out? The world is certainly interesting enough to do so.ZevianderIndeed, but there are different, less overt ways of telling a story in a game. Fusion and Other M are excellent games, and great additions to the series (unlike Hunters), but I really think the best way to tell a "story" in Metroid is through the environment. The use of hostile and serene environments in Super is a great example, especially when the two come together in Maridia. I don't mean like for like. Kojima and company are just good storytellers>.
