What you think is the most disappointing game endings?
I personally think fallout 3 is one the mission before the last mission could make a better ending.

MGS4's. The damn thing was way too long and bloated and it didn't have nearly the kind of impact that it should have done. I got to the point where I just wanted it to hurry up and finish. MGS3's ending was perfect so I don't understand how they fluffed it up so badly. Silent-Hali love mgs 3 also. haven't played mgs4 but have heard it isn't all what it cracked up to be
[QUOTE="mitu123"]it isn't as bad a fallout 3 and it made me want to finish the fight lol Yeah, but did you know that there was suppose to be 3 more levels after the "last" mission, but they were cut because it was rushed, imagine the ending it would had if the 3 missing levels were in it.Halo 2.

I have a list of games that have a sucky ending, but for the more recent ones it has to be Fallout 3. Mass Effect sucked as well. Reminded me too much of KOTOR.
Agreed...I didn't even realize it was the ending until the credits rolled. And I still have no idea what happened through that entire game. I hear Soul Reaver's ending was pretty crappy....it just says 'to be continued.' The thing is, there was never an over-arching story from what I gather- they just ran out of time.Halo 2.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
The game was so fantastic up until the main chunk of the "ending" that to witness that garbage at the "end" nearly made me vomit. Ever since then I have despised Lucasarts for pushing Obsidian for releasing the game early. There was so much potential for it to be so much better than BioWare's offering.
The way in which the moral choices were presented went completely against the black-and-white method that BioWare used in the first one. Instead of being the saint or devil, you were forced to ponder the more ultimate rammifications of your actions, and were chastized by Kreia for not making the most "grey" choice that had the least effect either way. For instance, giving a beggar some credits may seem nice and saintly, but could open the door for much violence and suffering against him from other beggars who want his money (my favourite example from Nar Shadaa), thus making the choice unwise.
Are we talking this gen only? If so, I vote Assassin's Creed. I couldn't believe how crappy the ending was.

Fallout 3. Not just because the ending was terrible (and it was), but because part of the REASON it was so terrible was because Bethesda wants to force some DLC crap down your throat to let you play the rest of it a year after it came out and costing you 10 more dollars to get what should have been included in the game anyway.
Word. Too bad I love Fallout 3. :P On that note I hate that the new ending missions or whatever will revolve around helping the Brotherhood of Steel. I hate working with them.Fallout 3. Pretty much all console FPS, altho i quite like the special ability you in at the end of Resistence 2tirralirraThe ending for resistance 2 was probley the best part of the game, mainly because the rest of the game lacked story or character development, it was a fun game but i prefer the first resistance, much better story telling. Also the resistance retribution for psp was the best story telling out of any of the games oddly enough.
I got another Assassins Creed people have fogot that one
