What's better - a "PS3 & Wii" combo OR a "PS3 & Xbox 360&

PS3 and Wii, the XBox and PS3 are too similar to own both(unless you have inf moneys). It's like having a car and a plane and trading your car for another plane(not a good plane either, like a one person bi-wing. Sure you have two planes, but you don't have a car. And why would you possibly need two planes?

I currently own a "PS3 & Wii" and I am thinking of trading the Wii for an Xbox 360 (so that I will have a "PS3 & Xbox 360").

So my question is: What's better - a "PS3 & Wii" combo OR a "PS3 & Xbox 360" combo?

The big issue for me is that a PS3 & Xbox 360 combo would be cool because you could get all the major hard-core games and not worry about exclusives (e.g. Uncharted, GoW, Splinter Cell) BUT there are a lot of overlapping games that are on both systems so it's kind of a waste to have both (when my other option is to have the PS3 and a Wii).

BTW, I don't want all 3 because that will just be too much (I don't have enough time for 3 systems) and I can't do an "Xbox 360 & Wii" combo becase I want the PS3's blu-ray player and SOCOM game.

Ps3 and Wii Combo by far, the Ps3 and 360 are too much of the same, the Wii so much more different.

I don't see the point by getting two consoles that basically gives the same experience even with the exclusives they have.

i like my ps3wii combo but cant actually compare , but i think i prefer this because of some ps3 exclusives tho

PC/PS3 is the best combo. Throwing in a DS Lite is a good idea as well. ;)

Ok - I did it. I had a PS3/Wii combo but now I traded in the Wii for a 360, so I now have a PS3/360 combo.

I agree with everyone that said that there is a lot of overlap with the PS3 and 360 so that a PS3/Wii or 360/Wii combo offers more variety, but I couldn't resist the ability to have the PS3 & 360 and not have to worry about any exclusive issues between these two consoles.

The ability to have all of the hard-core type games on the PS3 AND the 360 without caring about exclusives was worth it to me over having all of the Wii exclusives.

I know it's a cliche but I really found that my Wii was starting to collect dust and it just seemed like having a PS3/360 combo was worth it more than having the Wii.

So far I am loving the PS3/360 combo - being able to play Uncharted, SOCOM, etc. AND GTA IV DLC and Gears of War, etc. is absolutely incredible!

Why did you buy a Wii in the first place? 250.00 bucks for a system that's not so much different in specs from a gamecube. Sell that Wii while you can still get a decent return and get a 360 arcade unit, buy a hard drive off of ebay or newegg, and and enjoy the best combo you could possibly have. This is unless you're really into Nintendo IPs. Personally, I can't stand playing a Wii game for more than an hour. CyanX73

DO NOT trade your wii man believe me... trading in or even sellin' consoles just come back and bites u in the @$s when great games come out for them.. my advice is save your money and get the xbox its pretty cheap so it wont be that hard to do... Now about the better combo I would say Xbox and Ps3 because there's a lot of exclusives going on now and in the future.. but it would be of course better to just have the three of them!

Had all 3 and ended up the with PS3/Wii combo. Sold the 360. Worth it IMO.

I'd keep the wii. since you can already get multiplats, the only reason you would want a 360 is for the exclusives (which all have comparable games on the ps3).

the wii offers a library thats completely different from the other 2, and the wii has great 1st party titles.

From those two options. I'd go with WiiPS3...

Outside of system wars, the 360 and ps3 are practically the same....

PS3/Wii combo allows for way more variety. However, Gears of War and MGS4 are my favorite games of this generation, which makes PS3/360 somewhat appealing too.

Ps3/360/DS/PSP works wonders for me, makes me wonder why people even fight over them, when you own both it rocks. Wii never been interested in it.

From those two options. I'd go with WiiPS3...

i would say the ps3/wii if you have friends over a lot. if not then the ps3/360 for single player and online.

I think I like the PS3/360 combo more...both have exclusives that I'm looking forward to. I'm trying to get a Wii now though(I know I said this before...but I'm serious now!)
