x2 30 packs + a 12pack of beer = x72- 12 ounce beers

Honestly, why do you care how I spend my money. I have two nephews over 150 miles away that I don't see very often. 50 dollars a year for Live is nothing compared to the gas I would have to buy to get the time with them I get on X-box Live. To me, 50 dollars a year is a bargain. I spend a few hours every couple of days playing games with them. I even buy their subscriptions. So even at 150 a year, I spend way less then I would if I had to buy the gas, to spend that amount of time with them. Your thread is pointless.
[QUOTE="sargentbotk"]What I don't get is, what are you non-360 owners getting out of this in return? Why go so far to mention that XBL is "useless" over and over again, when people think otherwise because they believe it justifies their purchase?
I think this is as annoying as lems asking for MGS4 to come to the 360 over and over again. Its ridiculous. You guys don't even own it and yet you go so far to mention this to the ones that DO own it and PAY for it.
If you're the ones that say "Well, it's the only thing keeping me away from buying it." then forget about it. Its not going away, so why talk about it constantly? You're not going to buy it, so let it be and enjoy what you have and let others enjoy what they believe warrants their purchase.

I've said this before, but not specifically in response to you...
I don't think XBL is worth it, and it's the main deturrant for me buying a 360.
I played an MMORPG for 2 years, and I consider it the biggest waste of cash I've ever spent. I swore that I would never blow away my money like that ever again on something so pointless.
When there is so much fun to be had for free, even on PSN and the PC, why the crap would I pay money for XBL?
I mean, the most critically acclaimed online experience - Call of Duty 4 - is also on the PS3. So why?
I guess the reason why I bring it up so much is that I can't understand why other people are willing to put up with it either. I consider it injustice - XBL should provide the online gaming service for free, like every other platform out there except them, and THEN tack on some fancy stuff if you happen to own the gold service.
The day this happens is the day I will own an Xbox 360. But you guys who apparently have no idea what the value of a dollar is will never give Microsoft a reason to do that.
And you could buy a couple of fans to cool you off on a hot day.
It's a once a year fee, that's it. You act like you are paying $50 bucks a month. This thread fails. Xbox Live is worth every penny. There is a reason PSN is free and it's not because they don't wanna charge people.
[QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"][QUOTE="mstc_Q"]I'm pretty sure that when I'm being Ironic or even sarcastic, I'm being satirical.
And I'll ask, what then is the purpose of the system wars, other than for people to try and prove by whatever means that their system is the best?
I seriously have nothing against the Xbox per se, except that I think its ridiculous that if I got one, I'd have to pay good hard earned money just to play with my friends, which at the least should be included with the silver subscription.
I don't remember bashing the DS... And if I post about the Wii, it's because it pisses me off occasionally.
If you're offended by my threads, then you don't get the point - or in this case - you simply don't agree with me.

The point of system wars is indeed to prove which system is the best; using experience, common sense and logic. ;)
I'm not offended at all. I just think you need to stop posting about things you know nothing about (especially in criticism of things you know nothing about), stop the pointless attempts to call yourself unbiased when you're so obviously a PS3 fanboy, and stop refering to yourself as a witty scribe who only intended to point out the folly of human nature when your threads go belly up.
You keep doing all of that and i, and others, keep calling you out on it. It's not a matter of me "not getting the point" at all, but rather a case of you not having the experience or knowledge of the subject matter you insist on discussing to even have a point to begin with.
Most of the time you're just not getting the point. Here I'm being pretty clear. When I mask my meaning, I and anyone who gets it get to watch the humorous clammoring of the knights of thier respective consoles trying to defend the honor of thier lord; I think it's hilarious sometimes - people making fools of themselves.
I'd say that 90% of my theads are like this no matter what forum it's in, I do it on purpose, and you can call it trolling if you like, but my meaning is always there whether you see it or not.
And as for the PS3, if MGS4 was on the 360, I'd have a 360. If MGS4 was on the Wii, I'd... well.. I wouldn't have bought a PS3, that's for sure.
I am a dyed in the wool MGS4 fanboy, I'll admit that, but I claim no allegence to Sony. As for the system, I'm admittedly in the honeymoon phase with it right now - it's difficult for me to find things wrong with it - I was the same way with the Wii the first few months.
I'm sure that somewhere down the line I'll find something, but since it's essentially my only next-gen gaming system, at least until XBL is free to play online, I'm not sure if I'll ever be terribly disatisfied with it.
I've mocked in the past the sony fanboys though. I've refered to the Cell Processor as a magical thing that will make all my dreams come true, and I've made fun of other ridiculous claims and arguments.
In a phrase, I'm afraid you're wrong.
Seeing as how Ninja has completely destroyed everything you have come at him with, you need to turn that phrase on yourself.
Now can this thread be locked? It's getting sad how bad this troll is being destroyed.
