Well LBP might be unique it sure lacks in platforming fun. SMG is a whole lot more interesting unless you just like creating levels (:lol: FAIL) . Great for half and hour here or there but normal gamer won't find it fun (FAIL) .

I hate the game with all my heart because of two things: A) Its a blatant rip-off of Gears of War and Indiana Jones B) Naughty Dog is doing this instead of Jak 4! :x The only reason people like the game are the graphics, which I really don't care for. It's not original, but it's well put together with great characters, gameplay, and story. It's a memorable experience, and a thrill to play through. That's why it's so good. What makes Halo ODST so special? It's the same game as Halo 3, isn't it? Same gameplay, same old stuff, right? Just had to ask.;)NYrockinlegend

I hated the demo for Uncharted, and because of that I never bought it until now (when the price finally dropped). But it's actually a really good game. It's a great game actually, and the second one looks to be even betterCouth_

Yeah, they chose a poor part of the game for the demo. Luckily my mind was made up about buying the game before then anyway.

As for the TC's question: I thought the first game had a great mix of shooting and platforming, great pacing, the characters really stood out as being believable and charming, and the voice acting was top notch. Uncharted 2 looks to take all the things I loved about the original and multiply them by 100, while adding 3-player online co-op and competitive online multiplayer which, after having doubts about before playing the beta, is actually very good and a great addition to the series.

Seriously, people are actually trying to believe Halo 3 had great graphics? They weren't bad, but come on, nowhere near as good as Uncharter, Gears or Killzone.

Uncharted 2 won game of show for many publishers because of all the fun it looks like it will be, if you aren't interested in it then good for you, you have no soul. But seriously though, you cannot say Uncharted brings nothing new, I mean come on!!! In one scene, he's running from a building thats collapsing, with all the physics and feel of the building he's in coming in on top of him! Thats hardcore.

Well.. Let's put it this way. Aside from all the fanboy'ish talk, Uncharted 1 was a pretty underrated game for the first few months it came out. Since Halo3 and COD4 were fighting for the sales. Sure it sold over a million but wtv.

Anyways the first Uncharted was actually a fun Gears inspired 3PS. It was great no, awesome. The story was nice, the characters were interesting and overall fun experience for the PS3 with amazing graphics.

Now Uncharted 2 is a sequel to a great game but all the hype is basically coming from fanboys who wanna showoff that the PS3 teh ****. Don't get me wrong, it's going to be a huge game. It's just people are bragging about it.. A little too much imo.

I really like my PS3 but I hated LBP to be honest. Uncharted on the other hand was great. I doubt you ever touched it.

from what people have told me its a male tomb raider and i always hated that series. Also ps3 fans are making it sound like if they were to loose every ps3 game in a fire and only uncharcted survived it will be good enough to be the only game they will play. EmperorZeruel

Which games did you play? Because you might have not understood them.

Uncharted's story was fresh in the sea of gray shooters, but still freshness was the last thing in the back of my mind after those 24-like betrayals.

And let's be serious for a moment...

its not supposed to be believable, its a game.

[spoiler] At first you fint the submarine with those dead naziz, but they dont look right, its not a human which killed them. Obviously the nazis found this tresure too and were subjected to the curse. its was fantisy but it was on top if a solid foundation of factual history. So it worked well. Plus that twist imo was really fun and most importantly changed the gameplay frm duck and cover to run andf gun. If they hadnt of done that the game would have gotten too repetitive. [/spoiler]
