Whats the best Final Fantasy game?

Final Fantasy X for me mainly because of the story and battle system.

I liked 4, 6, 7, 8, and 10. Hated 12.

Final Fantasy 7 :P

I also really enjoyed 6,9 and 10.

I'm gonna say IX, just because you skipped it in the poll which is criminal. >: [

IX was hands down my favorite, it attempted to fix what VII and VIII ruined, a good name.

I'm gonna go with Final Fantasy VII and subject myself to a lot of hate. Great characters, an interesting plot, a poignant death scene that had a huge impact on the story, great optional quests and the materia system. Overall the most complete out of all of them for me.

And then Advent Children ruined it. But, w/e. VII, for me, is still the best.

Final Fantasy 10. Best story, best upgrade system(Sphere Grid FTW), best characters. Just too easy, excpet for Seymour Flux.

Final Fantasy IX is the best. :D

yh i hate the battlefield series aswell soo bland in our opinion. u definately shud try this other game that it tried to rip off its called call of duty modern warfare. start with the 1st thou or u won't get the deep, engrossing rich story line that it tells with in-depth characters

Just because a game is derivative in someways, doesn't make it a poor title. FF9 is beautiful to look at, and the characters, particularly Vivi and Garnet are very well developed. I'm glad you are your friends think the game sucks, but there are a surprising number of people here who love it, myself included.

FF8 is still my favorite of the PS1 era, but that's partly out of nostalgia. FF9 is better in a lot of ways, and doesn't get enough respect in my opinion. Most people seem to venerate FF7; I'm one of the minority that don't care much for it.

FFIX is more juvenile in it's presentation than other FF games. Sometimes the plot can also be pretty Juvenile, like the portion in which "you're not alone" plays in FFIX.

I wouldn't even say the character models or designs are "kiddy", but more fantastical and less realistic than FF7 or FF8.

Nine was a useless FF game. All i was, was a throwback to FF 1 2 3 4 and 5 with ff7 graphics, and a stupid plot. Therefore has no need to be on the polls.Lable1985
