What's the longest you have ever sat there playing a game?

You wasted that game. Shit was amazing for multiplayer and pve. Shame on you. Shame. This is also the game i spent over 24h playing straight. Its the only game that has ever made me do this kind of nolifing.

Not sure what longest was but last Fri I played halo wars 2 from 12:15 am to after 6 am

FFXIV. Over 24 hours straight. Levelled up a craft from 1 / 50 and did whole lot missions when awaiting for vendor's to come back.

This past Sunday I must have spent 6-7 hours finishing up Bioshock Infinity and Battle Field Bad Company 2. That's the longest I've played in a very long time.

Almost three full days camping Stormfeather on EQ1.

maybe 6-7 hours. after that i usually get a headache

I know as a teen I played some 10h in one day on Final Fantasy VII as of the last 10 years I doubt I played more than 5h straight in one sitting.

I spent quite the night recently with Call of Chernobyl, a stand-alone addon for S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat. It's a huge sandbox that combines and remakes all the maps from the trilogy into one huge world. This shit just ate up a huge amount of my free time, longest in recent memory.

And now, i'm gonna dabble with Call of Misery, which is an addon for Call of Chernobyl, and a huge ass one at that. I could probably spend decades playing the content built by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R community.

Witcher 3 9am - 1am every day for three weeks.

I beat xcom1( the new one) in one sitting, that took me around 14-20 hours also had some very long sessions back when Everquest 2 was good:) played ultima 7 from dusk to dawn(until my parents kicked me to bed) for 10 days straight or something back when I was a kid, that was such a great game!!

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault

Played MP from sundown to sunup, non-stop, many times.

Original Halflife, about 8-9 hours.

14 hours to finally get defeated against easy level AI in Civilization 3 back in the day, there were nukes in all the map and we all died, good old unemployement days

Seems to be the trend as we get older, lol.

Whether it's due to having more responsibilities and thus less time as we get older, having "endless" energy in our youth, or possibly a combination of both one thing seems to be common among a lot of these responses. As we get older the thought of "parking" ourselves in front of the T.v/monitor for extended periods of time (12 hours plus.) seems harder than it used to be.

The longest? Probably back in my LANfest days with GLQuake/Quake 2 and Duke Nukem 3D.

Singleplayer? Don't know. I've had Fallout 4 for almost two months now. I finished the main story at 240+ hours. I'm currently pushing the 310 hour mark and I'm still not tired of it. That's just the main game. All the DLCs are still ahead of me.

Must been when i played Final Fantasy 7 back in the days for like 48hrs something and fell asleep in front of TV

There was no save feature for most 16bit games, but you could beat most of them in less than one hour. I recently found a playthrough of Another World on youtube and thought: 'oh nice, i have time and love this game so why watching an hour or so of it?'. Then i realised that the guy beat the game in 15 minutes lol I beat that game many times, but i honestly remember it as a fairily long game!

Anyway, i never play more than 2 or 3 hours non stop. My longest was probably playing Oblivion or Skyrim.

When i got the wii and twilight priness, i think i played 12 hours straight
