My PC only cost me 650 up front, and I haven't had to upgrade at ALL and it runs Crysis fine. You also don't need to buy a brand new computer every time. The price depreciates lower and lower because you really don't have to upgrade RAM or the CPU very much. You really only ever need to upgrae video cards, which getl ower and lower in price.

He does have 1 point though, I hate that blur effect, I turn it off straight away ... it makes me feel sick and its even ahrder to aim in combat :S ... I dont understand its purpose ... its too dominent.

No one is in second place or first man.... some people think PC gaming is the best some people think Console gaming is. That's like claiming The Matrix is the best action movie ever. While I probably would agree with that it makes no sense to label it as if there is some kind of universal rating that says which movie is best ever and we all have to except. Personally, I think Halo 3 is vastly overrated, as are any console shooters. Playing a FPS with a controller is just as bad as playing a fighting game with a keyboard or a driving game with anything other than a driving wheel.
Why is it so difficult for some hardware company to come up with an interface that is like a mouse and keyboard for consoles? Just make a mouse, and a small round platform with host of pressure sensitive buttons on it. You could even have rumble in it so when you fire your gun in game, you would feel it through your fingertips. Microsoft or Sony, are you listening?

I have no problem running the beta sure my fps drop into the 40's out doors but hey it's a beta with no sli support and it's not optimized yet, that's what a beta is unoptimized software with possible bugs. Iboughthalo 3 and even at the beta stage crysis has more options sure many features are missing but the gameplay is solid so just imagine when it ships. I also have TF2 that completely owns halo 3's multiplayer and after the patch it only got better even has 32 players now.Like I said maybe your not a FPS guy so your not into the possibilities or your not skilled enough to stop from losing your weapons or don't have enough prestige points or your team is not working together or you forgot to use your suit ??
I admit the vehicles need work but it's a beta and it's not safe to use them anyway as you can use the suit to destroy them easy then retreat and have your team ambush the occupants. I like the boats hovercraft and tank personally and I love the weapon + suit's almost endless possibilities I never get tired of strength punching guys to the moon lol.

now that i agree with. but i use a/my pc for so much during the day, photoshop, premiere, the internet, word, itunes and other stuff. when i play games i want too sit in my living room in a big comfey sofa in front of my 32" LCD. i know i could put my pc through the screen but my pc is upstairs.

I am a adult with a job to support my hobby if I want to spend moneyto get the best possible gaming experience on my pc what's it to you ??I also do alot of video encoding for my friends who are intosubbing anime and for myself to back up my video collection I also do alot of audio encoding for my music collection. People give me money to do encoding for them I seem to be in demand as a person who does good work fast. Even without that stuff I get chills how fast my pc moves I just like to bench it for the hell of it I just like power. It's not like I am starving taking the bus to work and running late on my mortgage to buy pc parts so what's the harm ??
Some people buy jewelry, some rice their cars, some do drugs I like gear.
