Unless you don't have eyes(or ears with how much people complain) the negative thing is "teh" graphics.:P
[QUOTE="Blazdav"]Bioshock - Flaws? Naaaaah.Cherokee_JackYou liked the last boss?
Oh man... that was so disappointing... and typical :(
+1 She's technically a fine VA but I cringe whenever she talks. :| Such a forced attempt at being sultry.Uncharted 2, Chloes Voice

I'll just say a few of my favorite games.
Knights in the Nightmare: Can be diffcult to learn, and alot to pay attention to.
Silent Hill Shattered Memories: very short, and not as scary as it could have been.
SMG2: Better camera control would have helped greatly reduce frustration in a few spots.
Dragon Quest IX: Stella. That's all I need to say. Also, some of the quests can be quite ridiculous to beat.
Darksiders: Short and more linear than I would have liked.
This generation had no game that really drew me into it's multiplayer and spent hour's with like last generation. call of duty/battlefield/halo game's get boring really fast.YOYOigotAfro
I really liked L4D 1/2, Killing Floor, and TF2. I also played a lot of LoL, and will probably play Dota 2 at some point.
Though I actually probably played Halo 3 the most of any current generation game, and I also played quite a bit of Battlefield Bad Company 2. I no longer play either game though.
Mass Effect - Not really long enough, needs to be at least another 1000000000000000 hours.

- Mind Numbingly easy combat on normal difficulty, hardest difficulty is even easier (Never tried locked difficulty was not replaying that game)
- Stale story/characters (the doc and garren were cool as hell. But, scuba mask people, blue aliens, and ashley the most fugly girl ever concieved this gen, and nearly everybody else more than make up for it.) (Wrex's race is alright too, i forgot him.)
- No plot developement whatsoever. Seriously, in ME2 especially. 2 events happen in the entire story, ridiculous.
- horrible RPG elements/customization
-No real story impacting/ethical choices can be made (save for purposely letting bad things happen to annoying characters.)
- Everyones favorite moment in ME1, The ashley and ken(I forget his name) sacrifice part. Could not care any less about either of them, sooooo bland.
- Tank levels on barren planets sucked/Getting resources on barren planets sucked. Enviroments are reused in both games consistantly although 2 is much better than one in that regard.
I'm sorry I just don't understand the unwarranted respect this game gets. Bioware makes pathetic, uninteresting stories. League of legends even has better lore, and that game sucks too. Maybe I'm just an angry Kotor fan tho. I understand that you ME fans love the game for the miranda sexing part, but please have some self-respect.
Ive got 2 actually.
Dragon Age Orgins: Like all Bioware games, EXTREMELY unpolished, and the LOAD Times....
Metal Gear Solid 4: It ends :(
seriously though, some peope (mainly newcomers) might not understand the story
Metal Gear Solid 4 is in desparate need of an Americananyways editor.
ActionRemix
care to elaborate?
anyways I'm not sure what my favorite game is, so I'll just pick God of War 3.
The game goes way down hill once you find Pandora also wish ithad more enemy types
Assassin's Creed II. : The combat is way too easy. But IMO, it's not an issue as combat is not the focus of that game.
Which version did you play? The PC version sure felt polished enough to me. Though I guess it depends on what one would call polished.Ive got 2 actually.

Bioshock. Unreal engine 3. Such an ugly engine.silversix_I didn't think Bio1 or 2 used Unreal 3? I thought they used an evolved version of Unreal 2, with Bio Infinite being the first to use unreal 3?

Somehow I don't think you were saying something negative about your fav game of this gen. lol I kinda feel like you're being overly critical of the game. You don't have to like me1 or 2.... but come on. Stale story and characters? No plot development? No story impacting/ethical choices? That's insane.[QUOTE="silversix_"]Bioshock. Unreal engine 3. SMG2. I have a hard time finding any real negatives, but if I had to nitpick I'd say there are rare occasions were its a bit difficult to judge distance. Its really only an issue in those parts that lock the camera into a side scroller perspective, but still allow the player full 3d navigation instead of locking out the z axis.
ME2. Beyond stupid side-quests. Discovering if it's fish? Really???IronBassAre you talking about where you have to find out if there are fish on the presidium for those 2 Krogan?? Come on! That part was Awesome! Krogan 1: "Eating a fish from the presidium would be like screwing Shiara". (sp?) Krogan 2: "Ugh, Asari are too squishy. Where are you supposed to get a decent grip?" I thought it was funny. However, one would think that when the entire galaxy is being threatened, the sole protector would display a sense or urgency, and perhaps NOT find out of fish live in the presidium lake for a krogan you don't know.
Batman Arkham Asylum.
Boss battles with the big injected guys got repetitive.
The battles with the proper Batman villains were great though.
Fallout 3 and Vegas , i love those games (have 200+hours playtime on each) but that damn pieces of crap freeze every 1-2 hours of gameplay :D
Batman AA: not much replay value
Valkyria Chronicles: very cheesy dialogue, missing a shot you really needed can be infuriating
Fire Emblem RD: Ike lost a lot of his character from PoR, support conversations went from actual character development to stupid copy/paste greetings and responses
Borderlands: kinda shallow and empty
Monster Hunter Tri: desire sensor, not much to do once you get endgame weapons/armor
Starcraft 2
Consumes too much time if you want to keep yourself in competetive shape (thats why I stopped playing it after almost a year of laddering.
Perhaps I've thought some other game is of higher quality, but this is the one I've been playing - and enjoying I suppose - the most.
There are many things wrong with it. Here are some that come to mind.
Demon's Souls: Horrible graphics, not enough variety when it comes to level design.
RDR: The ending is absolutely dumb.
That's 2 games but what the hell.
- Oh and getting stuck on ****. The most fun one is when you get stuck between a rock and a tree and can only stand there and vibrate until you decide to end your misery.
- Nitpicky, but stupid chainlink fences are annoying too. Can't shoot tracers through them. And quite bothersome when you're fired upon, sidestep to take cover behind something, and that damned thing is blocking your path and you get dead. So basically I feel forced to make it a point to slice those things away around wherever I happen to be.
What purpose do they serve? Seriously? You can't hide or take cover behind them. They do the above, and potentially impede attackers for up to a mighty two seconds.McStrongfast
Damn man, lol.
You sure this is your favorite game this gen ?
Supreme Commander : Forged Alliance
Too CPU-intensive when it released, and the steep learning curve made for a limited community. A pity, since it's the best RTS I've ever played. Though there are still people playing it, it didn't get the success it deserved. Therefore the sequel, Supcom 2, "streamlined" the concept to try to grab a bigger audience and killed the game.
I have 2 favorite games this gen, i'm sorry, i truly can't decide between Super Mario Galaxy and Bayonetta.
Super Mario Galaxy:
The Spring suit was frustrating and not that fun.
Some of the Stars were extremely hard to get.
The flying wasn't very responsive...or perhaps i didn't learn how yo use it properly.
Bayonetta:
The camera can get in your way more than once and in the worst possible moment.
In the hardest settings, the game gets extremely unforgiven.
Not being able to fight the last battle gainst Jeanne without having to pass the missile part.
But at the end of the day, i love this games to death, this are nothing but minor things.
