When did the PS3 take over?

seriously. 2 weeks ago i read nothing but topics about how the PS3 sucked and failed and was going to lose. now this week all i see is "lemmings are on damage control", "nows the time for ps3", and "lemmings get ready for 3rd place". last time i looked ps3 still didnt have any great exclusives out yet. yea mgs4 and r&c are coming out, but not here yet. also last time i looked, ps3 was still under 5 million sold.

did this shift come because everyone believes that since halo 3 was released that 360 owners have nothing to look forward to? dont get me wrong this isnt a bash thread. but i know thats how most of you will take it. its a legitimate question. im on here almost every day, and the change was like night and day. what happened? what was it that caused this change. it certanly wasnt the lame 40gb, sure the system is $400, but they cut so much crap out of it, its not worth it. i want a ps3, but not a 1/2ps3. nothing major was announced recently, we all knew that ff13 and mgs4 werent coming to 360. heavenly sword and lair flopped terrible. the dual shock 3 is being sold seperate and not being packaged with the system, atleast at first. ut3 for ps3 got pushed back. all this is bad news, so for what reason is everyone saying the ps3 is taking over?

Lemmings have been in full damage control ever since the Halo 640p shock and the final nail in its coffin...the PS3 price drop. Its just going to get darker for lemms all the way into '08. Thats just the way things are going to be.

Doesn't affect syncing 4 controllers. The controllers are Bluetooth, not USB. They only use a USB cable to recharge.

how come? i don't know how the game works but there's two usb ports on the 40gb ps3 and you can buy an adapter to exspand to more.

no but i thought there was something if the controller lost connection with the system you had to plug it in for it to sync back up. atleast this was an original problem that may have been fixed with a firmware update. but i remember people complaining about the controller losing connection then having to plug it in so it would reconnect.

The 40GB PS3 has the same amount of usb ports as the pro 360 so I don't think there will be a problem with playing 2 player. Also I hear that the PS3 guitar is wireless.dmaximum

I don'treally think Halo 3 running at 640p to preserve FPS is a big deal. But then it probably makes the PS3 look better when it can run GT5 and other games at full 1920x1080, which is nuts(PC gamer). But the 40 gig PS3 is the right choice, the one they should have taken from the beggining with the DualShock 3.

Photo mode or cutscenes FTL, buddy. I played the demo the otehr day and it doesn't look ANYTHING like that! The game does look good, but not as great as every cow makes it out to be in photo mode. It's comparable to PGR4 gameplay looks just as good.

i was listening to onthespot aus podcast and apparently they are removing bluetooth functionality from the ps3 controller as they couldnt get it to work properly. so instead the guitar needs to be plugged into two usb slots, not one like on the 360

This was my first though when I read TCs first post :p Lemmings just let the Cows run wild here on SW while they are playing Halo 3, so that they can come back and claim ownage when the 40 GB PS3 flops.
