Starcraft 2 is the fear of all videogame developers world wide. Every developer has a Starcraft 2 poster in their offices, not because they like it, but to remind them of their impending doom.

When people play Starcraft 2, ask them a question about another game and the only responce you will get it is: "What other game?" Starcraft 2 is the only game when it releases; the only game worth mentioning when it releases.

WOTLK, now SC2, then D3. Blizzard just kicked the rest of the gaming industry square in the family jewels, drop kicked his puppy, then took his mother out for dinner and never called her again.

Blizz will be wiping their rear ends with money and GOTY awards.

Blizzard can still screw it up in fact, they've already begun with their decision to make people buy each campaign seperately. No matter how you spin it, that is a stupid decision.

I would love to get it but my pc wont be able to handle it it can bearly handle wow on min settings. I will have to settle for halo wars on the 360EmperorZeruel

oh so the lone pc developer blizzard really thinks that Starcraft 2 is going to put fear in other developers please . thats just silly Blizzard is the only ones that fear things like consoles .

Take worldwide into consideration, StarCraft 2 is seriously going to do a lot of impact

I'm not buying the SC2 hype. I don't like how they made it cartoony, and in some scenes it looks like they have too many units on screen. The game also looks too much like a re-hash, but I know for Starcraft fans a modern rehash would be enough.

Have a look at the Dawn of War II videos without hype-colored glasses. That game looks far more interesting. The enivronmental destruction modeling looks excellent. The DOW series have also always had that fun factor that many strategy games lack.

Like the other poster I am actually more interested in Halo Wars than Starcraft 2 (GASP). Sorry but an ensemble studios game designed for couch gaming will get easily get my money. I'll probably pass on Starcraft. Diablo 3 will get my support though.

I'm far more interested in Dawn of War 2. The expecations and claims surrounding Starcraft 2 are simply ridiculous. I'd rather have a game that I can enjoy than some "it's coming" nonsense over the sequel to a frankly overrated and outdated game.subrosian
