More like a mental problem. The game hasn't even had new information since when? I could see if new information was announced to piss him off, but this is pretty ridiculousYou have 3 threads on the first page, that is a serious problem.

[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="starjet905"]Yes, but I'm talking about the concept of taking characters from many games and putting them into a single game in a fighting-ish style.starjet905you do realize there were tons of cross overs before that right? hell, king of fighters is a crossover. Didn't know that KoF was a crossover (what stuff does it bring together? I haven't played KoF since I was a kid and can't remember anything about it other than the fact that it's a 2D fighter) , but I know of ones like Ehrgeiz (Yeah, again Square, I know. :P ). Was just giving a recent example of a decent crossover. :) King of Fighters have characters from Metal Slug, Ikari Warriors, Psycho Soldier, etcetera. There was also The Outfoxies, although not a crossover, it had gameplay exactly like Super Smash Bros., but came out in 1994.
True, but as long as I can have Samus, Ganon, Ness and Kirby mixing it up, its like the Expendables

Ahah, epic comment is epic.
Smash Bros. is a party game not a fighter.
It's not just the "characters". It's the awesome officially remixed music both old/nostalgic and modern. The familiar locations in the levels. It's really a mix of everything people love about Nintendo games + now they added Sonic/Snake.
The game is fun for reasons not related to the "fighting" genre. It's literally the only "fighter" I buy and play, because it isn't one.
"SSB isn't fun".
I love it when people say this as if it's some objective observation. First of all, fun is completely subjective. Second, going by the number of people that have enjoyed this game over the years, denying that this game has any merit in this area is downright laughable.
It may not be the ideal game for fighting purists, and a lot of it does come down to luck, but that's also what makes the game, IN MY OPINION, fun. It's like a fighter version of Mario Kart.
