When was the last xbox AAAE that wasnt halo, gears or forza?

We know microsoft are pretty set in their big franchises but looking back I dont think MS have had a retail AAA exclusive game outside these big franchises since 2007!

Just so you know, this exact same thing was also true of Sony until last night. Calm down and don't get too ahead of yourself- Microsoft may just score a AAA new retail IP with Quantum Break or Scalebound this year.

They have invested in new IP's, Ori and the Blind Forest is a Microsoft IP (just not an XB1 exclusive) that's AAA, they also invested in Sunset Overdrive, (although I believe Insomniac owns that) revived Killer Instinct, Quantum Break, Scalebound which should be good since Kamiya is one of the best game designers in the business right now

They'll probably announce more at E3 also.

I find it much more amazing how much people are attached to what others think and scores they provide for games rather than what they actually think of it themselves... I don't care if Microsoft games score a 5/10 consistently, if they're fun and I enjoy them, I am going to get and play them.

Microsofts hemorrhage a lot of their exclusive content, and it's only going to get worse (depending on perspective) with their plan to release their would be exclusive games on Windows 10 and Xbox One.

thats sort of the problem.... Is a game a 10/10 if all but one reviewer give it a 10 and that review is the one that we use (for some reason) to judge a game.

And on the flip side, is a game a 10/10 if GS is the only one that gives it a 10/10? Cuz GS (McShea) gave Beyond Two Souls a 9/10 and that shit was garbage sitting at a 70 on Meta

Considering we live in a world where shovelware can come out @retail on a shoestring budget, and we have multimillion dollar budgeted indie and publisher games releasing digitally the whole thing has gotten pretty pointless anyhow.

Thanks for the answer. I own all the Halo games and that list is missing two games, three games if you count Halo 5 which isn't released. I wouldn't count Halo 5 either, but it's missing two games for sure.
