your last triple AAA "score for the DClems" high budget exclusive game was almost 24 months ago, almost a whopping 730 days ago and it was just a racer.

Red Dead is a reskin of GTA. QB is a reskin of Max Payne. Fallout is a reskin of TES. Halo is a reskin of CoD The list goes on.

AAA game in this context means the budget and designation of the development process not some score from one review site.

A Triple A game (AAA) are games that we're developed with a significantly large budget. Wouldn't a megaflop be something like a 5 or 6 ala 5club or the Order? How is an 8 a megaflop? The hype was a 9 and it received an 8 with an average of 85 on MC. AS far as reactions it's far from the megaflop you're saying BUT....if you want to talk about megaflops, nothing will touch TLOU and the cows reactions.

if you only play games based on the GS meta scores not on what games are actually good, you will be playing a lot of Gone Home, Flower while Going to the Rapture.

You comparing 2 new IPs with not so much of a hype behind them overall with a game that defines X1 brand for 3 generations now while lems hyped it as AAA/AAAA ? Come on now

How is possible to compare a system seller and one of the supposed , main reasons why someone should buy an X1 to Driveclub and The order ?

8 is a MEGAFLOP when it comes to HALO when 99.99% of lems hyped it 9 or 10 ...I voted 8 ( unlike some people scoring games a 10 just to see them flop ) I called it an 8 the moment i saw the first demo.Anyways , X1 is doomed if HALO 5 won change the situation X1 is currently in imho.

Halo 5 was MS' best shot so can't see anything exclusive hitting 90+ on meta for the Xbox in the near future. Two of MS' prized trio have seen a decline in Forza and Halo and i have little faith in Gears turning that around with it's change in devs. Those were the only 3 exclusive franchises that hit 90+ for MS last gen and i'm not seeing the replacements.

Sony's already had Bloodbourne and is sitting on Uncharted 4. Never mind potential sequels in the pipeline for God of War, TLoU, The Last Guardian and their ability to pull a new IP out as they did last gen with LBP.
