Where is this Greatest Xbox Line-Up Microsoft is talking about?

I swear Microsoft message has been so shitty this gen. From false marketing stand points, to showing/ hyping off upcoming games with playable builds to cancelling them altogether in the End. They did it with three different Games now (Phantom Dust, Fable Legends, and recently with Scalebound)seriously MS stop misleading the customers already and get your shit together. They should try to be humble and actually showcase what games they really have in check. The most interesting game in their First Party lineup has been cancelled now, I guess Crackdown 3 is next. Sorry but I call bullshit, when the best xbox line up consist of mostly Halo Variation, Forza, and Gears.

Stop being harsh to devs and allow more risks already. Its stupid to expect every game to have Halo level success, this is what I believe is stopping MS from having a diverse First Party lineup. Best Xbox line up my ass, original xbox and early xbox 360 had a more diverse lineup with different genres other than shooters or racers.

That's because big companies like MS or EA think smaller genres like 3D platformers or City builders are dead.

Only for some indie game company to come along, make an amazing game at a fraction of the cost, and ride the hype.

Sony is guilty of similar things. But it is concerning how little there is on the near future for Xbox. And a I agree that MS should give more freedom to its developers. It's a terrible strategy that started on the X360's last years, with bad results, and for some weird reason they insist on.

Don't know how MS want's to build the Xbox brand on PC and console without having a strong line up.

MS' main franchise staples are under performing left, right and centre, because they're tired, ass, and generally mediocre franchises. If they cancel all the other games that aren't Halo/Gears/Forza, then the consumer has more chance in buying into those three franchises.

It's an interesting strategy. Judging by the lem reaction to Scalebound being cancelled, a diversifying triple A Japanese exclusive, it seems to be working.

Xbox has been doing awesome as has all of their big first and second party franchises. Great sales and great games. Looks to be an amazing 2017 with the best games and the worlds most powerful console.

What I'm finding amazing is how Xbox super fanboys are cheering every bad decision Microsoft makes. Are they putting subliminal messages in Gears of war that is causing them to act this way? I've never seen a company have fanboys by the balls like this. As an Xbone owner I'm a bit pissed right about now.

@sts106mat: you are part of the problem. That's the whole point of this thread. A diverse lineup, games for everyone. Having games that cater to different demographs, is better than having nothing. Just because you don't like the games, doesn't mean that others do as well.

MS have all of Rares IP for example (except donkey kong related content), why they're not making use of those is beyond me.

I feel sorry for the people that were looking forward to Scalebound, but personally, the game did not look good to me, so I wasn't disappointed that it got cancelled. Same thing with Fable Legends, the game did not look good to me so I was not disappointed when Microsoft cancelled it.

The upcoming Microsoft exclusive games that do look awesome to me are Sea of Thieves and Cuphead! I think these two games look great and unique and I'm very excited for them. If Microsoft cancelled either of these games then I would be very disappointed and upset, but Scalebound just did not look fun so I'm not upset by it's cancellation.

## They better show off some new IP's at E3, Scropio by itself can't save it if they just going to release the same ole franchise games over and over again. It's looking sad for MS right now.

You know what doesn't make sense? Sony milking the same franchises over and over. It's time for them to make some changes in their game releases. It is looking more and more dismal for them.
