Where is this Greatest Xbox Line-Up Microsoft is talking about?

I have no scores to give, which is why I haven't given you any. I can't give you my K/D ratio in COD, I can't give you my Battlefield k/d ratio. I can't tell you how many orbs I collected in Crackdown. I can't tell you my longest streak in Killer Instinct. I can't tell you how many hidden items I found in Uncharted 4. I can't tell you what trophies I have missed in The Last Guardian. Doesn't mean I am not looking forward to those games.

When the game comes out, and I buy it day one, you and me will hook up and you can write down whatever stats you would like. I will be open:

@kvally: I'll agree that Xbox is more than Halo /Gears/Forza box. For me it's Forza/Ori and the Blind Forrest/ Super Hot box. The only problem is how grim the future looks for the Xbone. They better bring something special to E3. I'm looking forward to my Playstation being a Yakuza0/ Nier Automata/ Horrizon Zero Dawn box soon. I can't do the same thing with Xbox.

The good news is they are both going to be Mass Effect Andromeda/ Red Dead Redemption2/ Cyberpunk 2077 boxes. Multiplats are still leading the gen. That is helping Sony more than Microsoft at the moment because of their ever so slightly better hardware.

For 2017 on Xbox One, I am for sure getting the following titles DAY ONE:

@kvally: Cuphead is the only one that has my attention unfortunately. It's pretty ironic to me that I mostly play Xbox for indies. I don't know how the stereotypical Xbox fan who hates all things indie and weeaboo can make it without them. The system needs everything it can get. I really am concerned about how Microsoft only seems to care about multiplayer games that they can sell you DLC on as I'm not really much of an mp gamer. The fact that I'm not much of a multiplayer gamer has me feeling a little bit stupid for buying an Xbone right now. They just don't want to throw us a single player bone.

8 of the games I mentioned above for Xbox are single player. In fact, three MS brought out three more single player IP's last year, with Recore, Inside and Quantum Break. They gave us Sunset Overdrive as well before that, another single player experience.

The problem I have, as you can see with my list for PS games, that they don't bring enough games out that suit me. You will find that both consoles have games that suit some but not others. I buy the PS for the few exclusives that it has, and then use my Xbox as the exclusive/indie/multiplayer machine. My PC is also for indies exclusives.

I just want Sony to branch out even more so we don't have to play Gran Turismo/Uncharted till the cows come home. I am bummed they let Zipper go. SOCOM is amazing.

@kvally: I need to look into those games more but they aren't really catching my eye. Crackdown 3 for example seems good but mostly focussed on mp. Everyone has different tastes in games. I'm not the least bit surprised that many people prefer Xbox. I think Sony's line up of games you can't get on Xbox was pretty sad up until very recently. I think Sony getting a handful of good Japanese games in the nier future and then Scalebound getting canceled has left a bad taste for me. Xbone's bad anti consumer launch ideas and their preference for multiplayer and games as a service has me constantly paranoid.

LOL! I think the hate train gave me more subliminal messages making me want to like the game more than the positive hype did. Those early days of it's release were an all time low for gamers. It really showed them at their worst and most ridiculous. I was ashamed to admit I was even a gamer.

This is why I game on PS, PC and Xbox....no way will I miss a beat! Now if I could just afford a Corvette, Mustang, Camaro and Challenger (and a bunch more cars I want), I would be all set!!! :)

First, give me a link to the playable build of Phantom Dust. Second, with the failure of Evolve, it was obvious the 4 against 1 thing didn't catch on. Now, I wish they had taken it back a bit and regeared it to be a more traditional Fable game with those assets because I was a beta member and know from many hours that it was a solid playing game.

Scalebound. Of course the easy to target side will get the blame. But where are Platinum at fault? Don't tell me they aren't at fault here. When SF5 launched broken and incomplete, Cows here defended Sony stating "Crapcom dev it, not Sony". Well Platinum was the developer of Scalebound and some of what is being reported is the engine and game wasn't performing. Also the project leads were suffering from the stress of meeting milestones. Well maybe they spread themselves too thin? 3 years now and the engine was still struggling? Platinum isn't to blame for any of this? Bullshit.

Of course its MS being "harsh" to devs. Allow more risks? Quantum Break, the first game that mixed and marketed itself with 22 minute live action episodes as a major part of the experience wasn't a risk? Recore, a game trying to bring back 6th gen gameplay and platforming wasn't a risk? Sea of Thieves isn't a risk? Halo Wars 2 a sequel to a game that got a 6.5 here, a genre not represented on consoles to any real degree isn't a risk? LOL get real fella.

Please MS if you don't present a decent 2017 lineup ...

I do agree that Microsoft needs to give their developers more freedom to try new ideas.

Sea of Thieves is one example where they have e, yet it isn't wide enough on the company level.

Pushing developers to do games they do not want to make is not a recipe for success.

LOL. Talk about reaching. Why even bring up Sony in this discussion? Especially for a game that they have nothing to do with, as Rockstar is the developer so you should blame them for the Agent. Further more you don't have a recent example of any game that Sony owns that has been canceled. The Agent was never officially canceled anyway and we don't even know if it actually begun development. Scalebound was in development for 4 years and has suddenly been canceled. So once again, you are reaching and grabbing air here son lol. Anyway, Sony has already released many more games than MS this generation so MS cancelling games is much worse. This is the third game canceled now. Some times you just have to be honest with yourself. Facts are facts.

Taking risks= letting their first party devs do what they want. Turn 10 will always be forza, the coalition will always be gears now(even cancelling their new IP), 343 will always be Halo. Phantom Dust may not have been playable, but MS did something similar scummy, in showcasing a prerendered trailer that didn't even use assets of the actual game at all, the game wasn't even months in development. Its still not being honest about their upcoming lineup, so my overall point still stands.

Where is it? The finest games in the most popular genres. Best FPS, TPS and Racer with something real special just a couple months from launching Sea of Thieves,.

That is not what taking a risk means. Paying for develop on a new IP from a 3rd party developer is the very definition of a risk. As you can see it does not always pay off.

Xbone 2017 lineup looks as barren as the Switch's launch lineup. I think its safe to assume Sony is gonna be showing their Alpha dominance. I mean, Horizon and Nioh in one month? Really? That's not fair. Please stop or at least calm down, Sony. Wow.
