Which controller do you think will be better? Dualshock 4 or Xbone controller?

the dualshock 4 looks nearly perfect, but the ergonomics of the other are in question.  Unless the grips are like cradels and the asymmetric sticks feel natural, it's crap.

Not saying the Xbox controller won't be perfect too, you just can't be sure.

You haven't held either controller, so how the hell do you know? :lol: you can't be sure about the DS4 either. I'll review them both once I get both systems. Too bad Cows won't be able to do that unless they run to Gamestop or Best Buy and try the XB1 controller on their kiosks. :lol: :P

Yes the DS2 was better then the original XBox controller. That beastly thing was made for football and basketball player's hands.

The XBox S controller was = to DS2 however. The d-pad was still crap however.

I've always preferred the dualshock controllers, so I'm a bit worried about the changes for 4.

I'm almost certain the Xbox controller will be better given Xbox controllers have always been pretty awesome. I'm really liking the improvements Microsoft has made to the new one. 

The general layout of the Playstation controlller to me is just wrong - so they'll never have the better controller until they ditch the fundemental design. Which they won't do because long time Sony fans have become used to the inferior design. 

While the Xbox controller in each gen has some problems (rounded buttons, D-pad), on the whole they were pretty good controllers. The One controller looks like it'd be the definitive standard controller.

This is coming from a Nintendo guy, so I don't have particular bias towards either company here.

The only problem with the PS controller (being the DS3 to be specific) is the lack of actual concave triggers and concave analog sticks. 

Overall, the buttons are perfectly symetrical and so are the analog sticks. D-pads are fine. 

PS4 controller LOOKS amazing to me. Xbox one controller looks cheap and generic.

The Gamecube controller was my all-time favorite controller.

My only issue with the DS3 was the size, and the triggers. the DS4 fixed all that and then some. The DS4 is looking like its even biger then the xbone controller.

The only thing I wished the DS4 had was the trigger rumble that xbone controller has. Maybe they can add those in down the line?

Im looking forward to trying out the DS4.Im happy they went with inverted thumb sticks and made it larger. The DS have always been too small for my preference.

Geez, I feel almost alone on preferring the dualshock controller over the xbox controller.  I prefer the symmetrical analog placement and softer, flatter buttons.  I also like how the triggers are wider on the Dualshock for better comfort.  I will admit that i bought the snapon triggers for my DS3 and it made the controller a billion times more comfortable.

Most first hand opinions i have heard on both controllers dictate that they are preety much the same now, however in my own opinion the better controller is my hands, it somehow seem to adjust to whatever it needs to adjust to, its only online here i see people complain about controllers. All i ever did was play the games, the controllers were not even something i considered an issue, Arcades, FamCom, Nes, Snes, Megadrive, Atari, Keyboard/Mouse, PSone, PS2, PS3, Xbox Duke, Xbox 360, WiiU e.t.c, all these controllers seem to work just fine

At a glance, I'd say the Xbone controller. I've never liked the dual shock design. Buuut, since you put the Wii U controller on the poll, I picked that. It's crazy comfortable.

I'm really impressed with how the XB1 controller utilizes new force feedback settings throughtout the entire controller for a more immersive experience. That, plus its superior ergonomics and completely overhauled D-pad make it the choice for me.

Its been confirmed many times that the xbox controllers are far superior to anything else on the market.

Anyone that says different is a fanboy in denial.

Xbox One duh.  Third parties made many xbox 360 variant type controllers for the PS3.  Because it was the best.

As for me, not having held the controllers personally yet, I say DS4 looks better overall. And thank god Sony finally fixed it because I think I would have switched to Xbox if they didn't.

I think the DS4 is going to be better for gaming and comfort because of the analogue placement and the lack of hard edges.  However, I think the XBone controller blows it out of the water in terms of aesthetics.  The Xbone controller looks like it is designed in the same style as the actual console whereas the DS4 looks like it was designed separately without any attention to style.
