Which controller do you think will be better? Dualshock 4 or Xbone controller?

im not liking the look of either. x1 controller looks a downgrade from x360, the shape just looks weird but i will have to hold both in my hands first

I think the DS4 is going to be better for gaming and comfort because of the analogue placement and the lack of hard edges.  However, I think the XBone controller blows it out of the water in terms of aesthetics.  The Xbone controller looks like it is designed in the same style as the actual console whereas the DS4 looks like it was designed separately without any attention to style.

The X1 controller looks like a cheap piece of shit compared the DS4. The design of the console is very generic too so you are right it conforms.

x1, because sony refuses to make drivers for pc. That being said both are ugly.

The X1 constroller is much more of a known quantity, if we look past the feedback integration. While it could be neat it will not be a real gamechanger I think. But the controller it is based on is likely one of the best controllers ever made (the 360 one) so it is much more of a known quantity. I doubt it will have the possability to disapoint.

The PS4 controller, is the more interresting one, given that it has far more alterations. From my point of view it has the possability to be the better one. If it is built better then the PS3 controller, and bigger (both sounds to be right here) then my major issues with the PS3 controller will be gone.

The make of break for me though (apart from the glowbar which I fine "meh") is the touchpad, which really could open op alot of possabilities in games. From the simpler item management, to differnet kinds of implementation of controlling in game I see it as having the most potential. Mind you that the Wii motion controllers also held the greatest potential.

I will discount the Wii U for now, I dislike how it feels to hold, and I find little use from the second screen. It is just plain badly made in my mind (which is a shame)

I like the Xbox One controller.

I've always liked the Dualshock design and DS4 is looking great.

Obviously both will be good though.

I imagine it'll be a wash for somebody who only plays shooters on PC and uses an arcade stick for fighting games.

Between the poll options, The Wii U Gamepad by a mile.

Between the options in the thread title, the Xbox One controller by just a couple of inches.

Not interested in the Xbone at the moment but that controller is extremely sexy. It gets my vote. Not saying the DS4 is horrible or anything like that because I also like it but that Xbone controller looks like heaven.
