Which FPS single player campaigns can compete with Bioshock 2?!

Guys im stuck on consoles so dont be saying system shock 2 lol. Im buying Bioshock 1 next week. So any FPS which are as good as Bioshock 2?! CoD isnt good, Halo is just "MEH", Bad Company has impressed me but not much more than CoD. Red Steel 2 was alright. More or likely will finish golden eye next as ive heard it single player is good.

So wheres the FPS with good single player?

Yes. Cryostasis, STALKER, Crysis, FEAR 1 and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath are all up there.

Out of those games, FEAR 1 is currently on consoles, and Oddworld is an old Xbox game, with a HD version coming to PS3 and PC this summer.

resistance campaigns are heaps of fun, i recommend them. Borderlands was good IMO as well and medal of honor.............................the HD frontlines game :P Orange Box Fear campzor

FPS campaigns sucked this gen except for COD4, HL2 Episode 3, and of course Bioshock

FPS = First Person shooter people, not third person action adventure.

Crysis 2 had a great solo campaign. Reach´s one is not bad.

Like someone mentioned earlier, Chronicles of Riddick has an amazing campaign and comes with both Escape from Butcher Bay and Dark Athena. It's a hybrid FPS much like Bioshock, but they're worlds apart, in a sense. Give it a shot. verbalfilth

Wow, I thought I was the only one who loved BS2. Its up there as one of my favorite shooters this gen. Honestly, the only game that competes with it for me is Fallout: New Vegas. Picked that up shortly after beating BS2 and it definitely satisfies the exploration, kill and pillage gameplay.

reach's campaign is leagues better than bioshock 2.

but I'd recommend condemned. thats the most original and mostfun.

Clive Barker's Jericho.

BioShock, Resistance 2, Fallout 3 (if that counts), and Killzone 2. All for different reasons.

BioShock for story, Resistance 2 for boss fights, Fallout 3 for scope and immersion, and Killzone 2 for being a difficult, generally unforgiving campaign that is both enjoyable and a decent length.

I'm also enjoying Crysis 2 so far, but I wouldn't put it on par with the first BioShock.

Well I have only played a good amount of 1 and none of 2, and I would say there are quite a few better campaigns. Goldeneye 64, Perfect Dark 64, Timesplitters Series, Metroid Prime series (big time), and tons more.
