[QUOTE="SkyWard20"] Except that it won't. Considering the reviewer's complaints about the game, it sounded like it barely managed to score a 9.0. The Witcher 2 won't get RPG of the year here. End of line.psn8214
It definitely won't be Dragon Age 2. :P
First he was barging in Witcher 2 topics convincing people that DA II will be better in every way imaginable. Then when DA II came out he was convincing people that Witcher 2 is going to flop.
Now this.
All this hate posting because he played two hours of the first Witcher and didn't like it. I don't even know what is going on anymore.
Difficult, both Dark Souls and Skyrim look terrific, and GS seemed to have liked TW2 a lot. There's also the chance Human Revolutions delivers. That would be cool.

That's incorrect.
Let's look at the last 9s I have given. The Witcher 2, sure, that is an RPG. (And it more than earned its score.)Kevin-V

While I still think the first Witchor was crap, I don't consider the second to be a bad game at all. It's just that with games like Skyrim, Dark Souls for the PS3/Xbox, and possibly Diablo 3 coming out, the Witcher 2 is simply outmatched in terms of having any chance of winning RPG of the year on GS. There are people here who no doubt think Eastern-European developers are the saviours of... Western RPG's, when most often their games come with many bugs, inconsistencies and other design quirks, or an overall lack of polish -- the second Witchor being no exception to this.
I consider all this hype over the game to be a result of it getting released at a time when there weren't many quality role-playing games out.
Is the first Witcher a bad game? Definitely. Is the second Witchor good? Yes. Can the entire Witchor series match games like Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age: Origins, Fallout 3/New Vegas, or Skyrim. No, no, and again, no.

If you say so.
The game can be 'deserving' of a 9.0 and also 'barely make it', but that's just me.

Fallout 3, Demon Souls, Mass Effect 2 all won that award and they all have the same score.

I merely choose to take notice of more than one of his posts, outside his employer's website.

I'm not speculating. He said he thought the game was more than deserving. There's no room for speculation there, it's as clear as it can be.
Unless you can prove the contrary, which until this point you haven't.
. While I have not played The Witcher 1 or 2 yet I have to say Bioware is the king of characters and story and Bethesda is the king of freedom and exploration. Lets face it most gamers do not even remember the main person in The Witcher let alone all the other people but everyone knows who Tali is or Wrex,Garrus,Mirranda, and so on. Bi.rybe1025... I don't know what to say

I've already stated why I didn't think his words are clear, given his previous negativity. The game could've been anywhere between 8.8-9.2 with Gamespot's previous rating method, for it to get rounded. 'Deserving', but only barely so.

You mean, make the claim that there's more to it and bring something forth as support for said claim? Already done so, and in my first reply to you.

Proof that he doesn't think what he says he thinks about TW2 being more than deserving.
Without that, I see little point in continuing this discussion

That's not exactly how I worded it, unfortunately. Not discounting that as a possibility either though.
Obviously, absolute proof is something we both lack. So again, Twitter ( as evidence ).

Which means he doesn't actually think what he says he thinks. I apologize for considering this conversation ended, but without proof, I see no point in continuing.

Both claims are from his own posts. This is a case of attempting to shift the burden of proof on your part ( managed rather poorly, I might add ).
