Title says it all. In the past, games sometimes relied on CGI cutscenes, but now, they're replaced with in game cut scenes. For me, I think that Halo Wars has some absolutely amazing CGI scenes in the trailers. And while it is beating a dead horse a little, Killzone 2's announcement trailer looked great. How about you?

Agreed with Blizzard. I remember the first time i saw the CGI intro for starcraft and just thinking, "wow... just make a movie like this please" Truely amazing stuff.

Final fantasy X and Dead or alive 4 (endings) is still the best CG in gaming. Heck even the CG intro for dead or alive ultimate is breathtaking.

I'll have to agree with the general consensus and say anything made by Blizzard or Square Enix.

Some of their games are worth playing just for the cut scenes. The most praise-worthy being Final Fantasy X in my opinion.

Any Blizzard game.

Also Blur Studios do alot of CGI for games, like Dawn of War, Company of Heroes, Tomb Raider Underworld, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Hellgate London and if iam not mistake Halo Wars, they did the trailer at least.

Click the "Animation" link under reels on their site shows alot of stuff they've done.

Very good CGI, even if some of the games weren't.

it does but i have seen a better halo ad. u gotta love MS and bungies marketing unlike Sony and GG >.> i havent even seen one ad for KZ 2. all they need is one line, some music and some breathtaking vids (ez) and thats it. One line = "They will know, that Helghan belongs to the Helghast" that gets me pumped up everytime :D

Soulblade on PSX had one of the best CGI i have ever seen. At least for that time...

tekken had and always will have the best cgi nothing else is even comparable , and I am not even saying this because im a huge tekken fun (which I am) it's just the plain obvious truth.
