I'm glad tensions over these three scores have subsided (more or less), but when you look back on em' which do you think was the most unjust scoring?

Mass Effect. Still the best game on the 360 imo. That review was so full of nick-picking it was unreal.
TP I felt was too similar to previous editions and got what it deserved.
You might want to add R&C: ToD. It got underrated by Gamespot too. :P
Out of the two you said, Twilight Princess. That game was awesome IMO. Not as good as Windwaker, but definitely should've gotten a 9.
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. It scored a 6.0 here and was a much better game than that. The reviewer scored it so low because he said it was too "hardcore" even on the easy setting. So essentially he scored it low because he couldn't beat it.
I beat it on normal setting which is the hard setting in Japan, wasn't that hard. :?
Mass Effect. New ratings scale = 9.5 Old ratings scale = 9.3-9.5.Spartan070
mass effects not that great of a game buddy....

It's called an opinion. One I heavily disagree with seeing as I hated the level design and lack of choices among other things, but nevertheless, an opinion and there's no such thing as a right or wrong opinion.

well either way your agreeing with me...I think? ....HIGH FIVE
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Metroid 3

You do realize that neither of these games are on the list?
Well, if we take into consideration the averages of all reviewer scores versus the Gamespot score we will find that LoZ:TP got a 94.4% and was awarded an 8.8 (88%) here, for a difference of 6.4%; Mass Effect was awarded a 91.1% and was awarded an 8.5 (85%) here for a difference of 6.1%; Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction was given an 88.7% and was awarded a 7.5 (75%) here for a difference of 13.7%
Therefore, the answer is Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction by quite a bit.
Twilight Princess, how was that not AAA worthy?EuroMafia
dated midi music, no voice acting... But still the game overall is a AAA experience imo

I'm a flexible dude when it comes to my own threads, so dont worry about it.[QUOTE="EuroMafia"]Twilight Princess, how was that not AAA worthy?blackeneddeath

its not no voice acting because it can't support it, its because link is to cool to talk....it wouldn't be a zelda game with voice acting because people would argue with what link should sound like.
People these days hand out scores way to easily 8.5 should be a truely great game ....that Everyone will enjoy ....R&C is not that game...and deserves a 8 maxAll_that_is_Man
It was the best in an already good series, a great 3d platformer in a generation that is rare to be found, Outstanding presentation; when taking these into account it should easily get 8.5 even though it may have limited audience and a decent lasting appeal.
Mass Effect -- It should've been a 9.0-9.5. The only issues it had were some little framerate drops and texture pop-in.BioShockOwnz
Those are pretty major issues for a finished game......and the driving in mass effect was broken...

You know what else mass effect was full of? Game stopping bugs. I ran across 2 upon my first playthrough.
Metroid Prime 3 wasn't a crime, and neither was Twilight Princess or R&C... Mass Effect I'll reserve judgement on until I have hands-on time with it.Funkyhamster
Make sure you play KOTOR first before you play mass effect

Nope, not at all. They were pretty minor in the game, actually. I handled the driving fine. People like to say it was "broken", but those people just never learned how to drive the Mako. Some gamers want instant gratification, then if they don't get it, they cry all the way home.
Easily R & C, especially when you look at the average.
ME and TP at least got fairly close to the average, and still got great scores (8.5 and 8.8) but giving R & C 7.5 was just preposterous, especially when the average was 9. Biggest mistake ever, that's when i stopped taking GS reviews seriously.

You make it sound as if the Mako was some thing that you'll learn how to control in a few hours.
It wasnt.
Mass Effect deserved its score. It was an amazing game, though it did have some problems.
R&C on the other hand was completely underrated.

There were definitely more than just "little" framerate drops and texture pop ins...Great game, but pretty damn buggy. I would say 8.5 was accurate, easily 9 if they fixed those issues. That's part of why ME on the PC got 9.
You think words such as "it's like playing a different game" mean nothing?
