and Red Dead Redemption and Super Mario Galaxy 2 coming out in the next 2 weeks..
It's really not even close how much better Console Gaming is..
Holy crap PC is wining by almost 3:1. So PC fanboys out number 360/ps3/wii fanboys.........wow Anyhow my vote goes to the PC. crozon
Where I am, it's still school hours. I'd wait and see over the next several hours up to this evening and see if a spike on the console votes occur.

All pc games are on consoles, but no console game is on PC
So, consoles, easilly
MK-Professor
I am getting tired with all this console gamers saying that consoles have more exclusives…
PC AAAe = 12, AAe = 77, Ae = 82
PS3 AAAe = 8, AAe = 12, Ae = 16
360 AAAe = 7, AAe = 13, Ae = 12
AAAe + AAe
PC = 89
PS3 = 20
360 = 20
Exclusives (from 11/15/05 to current)

Frankly, as a RPG player mainly, there is not a single game on PC for me, Witcher 2 is confirmed for consoles and that was over for PC
Whispered World which was the only other PC game i need, i can play on my non gaming laptop, i did not spend a penny on extra gaming PC hardware
As for consoles, well ican think of 15 exclusives i could not do without (Demon Soul, FF13vs, Fable 3, AlanWake, Gears 3, Xenoblades, Last Story, Last Guardian, GOW3 etc etc etc)
PC has really reached zero for me, and even adventures like Gray Matter is now coming to 360, which means soon there will be no PC gaming for me at all, will be like non existent

That would be funny if the results drastically change simply because of kids getting out of school. It would make console gamers look bad as they are probably under16 years old and can't even afford a decent computer so they just vote for consoles.
[QUOTE="Engrish_Major"]Poll results = fact. This thread is not even fair! Of course PC is teh winnar.theseekar
How is that ? If i only gamed on PC, i would have missed 90% of my gaming and i play all PC games i want on 360
...I play all 360 games I want on my PC. I hardly ever touch my Xbox.[QUOTE="GioVela2010"]
3 vs 1 now thats fair :roll: Plus the fact that half the 360 titles are on Pc too, Then if you add AA and AAA games from Pc they outnumber all three consoles for exclusives. 04dcarraher
Why would you only count exclusives? Games that are only on any combination of consoles but not on PC are just as relevant when comparing "Console Gaming vs PC Gaming"
Because counting multiplatform games on Pc & consoles does not prove that their are more games on consoles or the fact that its the exclusives that seprate each console from one another and Pc. Like I said before don't waste your time with giovela2010 as he is a known bandodger and a troll.[QUOTE="Engrish_Major"]Poll results = fact. This thread is not even fair! I don't understand where you get this idea. Considering the system has 171 exclusive games (as in, on no other system).

Again, remember, this topic is about Console Gaming as a whole vs PC Gaming, not 360 vs PC, PS3 vs PC, or Wii vs PC individually.
Consoles AA+ Games not on PC
101. Alan Wake 8.5

so, you need 3 systems to match Pc gaming? woah, I as a pc gamer am flattered ;)
I personally enjoy both immensely, but I'd give the edge to consoles because I don't have to worry about graphic settings/hardware upgrades, etc. On a console I'm more-or-less guaranteed a smooth experience for the most part, whereas on my PC, even when I play on the settings that I should be playing on, the game just doesn't run as smoothly as it ought to.stygiansanity
Lower the settings.
I built a new computer in 2007 for 600-700 USD and I have no worries about settings. I drag everything to max and it runs smooth.
Only a handful of games needed a few settings turned down which took a few seconds of my time.

I don't consider it bad. My kid, nephews and nieces are all going through it. It's also why I'm more forgiving of fanboy stuff. I had my own fanboy stuff when I was young although most weren't about video games (mostly Star Wars, pro wrestling, and Japanese cartoons).

On top by what criteria? The PC has more exclusive games than the X360+PS3+Wii combined.[QUOTE="GioVela2010"]

The Stalker series singlehandedly owns the consoles. PC will probably get Bayonetta, Red Dead, and a few other games released recently.

Out of all those console games, show me just one flight sim. And I mean SIM. Just one.
The fact is, I don't care how many games consoles have, they aren't my type of game. I don't like cars, anime babes, melodramatic JRPGs, half-naked dudes with swordchucks, or any of that teen-fantasy crap. I prefer my games work my brain as much as my fingers.
You just aren't going to find Simulators, grognard wargames or anything more complicated than some of the KOEI games...and I don't know if KOEI even does strategy games anymore or not, I haven't played their games since Romance of the Three Kingdoms V.
I see consoles as more of a 'home arcade machine' than as a hobbyists platform.

surprising isn't it? This board used to be populated primarily by PS3 fanboys, then 360 fanboys with Wii and PC fans being less common. Wonder what happened to draw in so many PC gamers?

Well to be fair, IL2: Birds of Prey is available for consoles. It has a hardcore (Simulation) mode satisfying enough even for PC IL2 veterans. Plus, Naval Assault is coming for the 360. To me, that's a sign that the fusion of PC and consoles is continuing.
Looking at the screens of the latter game, it looks to be a bit arcadish with submarines seemingly not having the proper markings or even nationality. But, maybe that's the multiplayer aspect.
PC gaming, but for me personally, I choose console. I like to just pop in the disc and play the game without having problems. Tooksme days to get Halo 2 to work on PC and Viva Pinata just doesn't work at all. RoslindaleOne
Viva Pinata was released for the PC? o_O -edit- Just checked. Wow, I never knew that.

Sure enough. Yes. GS has a review of it.

Yeah, it was on sale for $5 on games for windows live about a month ago. Still haven't played it yet. :PWell to be fair, IL2: Birds of Prey is available for consoles. It has a hardcore (Simulation) mode satisfying enough even for PC IL2 veterans.

No, it's not. I've played it. You don't even have basic SIM controls like magneto settings, air/fuel mix, prop adjustment, etc. Birds of Prey is a game, not a sim.
Pc. I love mods and lets use Oblivion as an example...
graphics
new races such as this
New quests
A 15 hour fully voiced guild, which in my opionion tops every normal guild besides the dark brotherhood.
lets take a look at morrowind!
hell a video would do the morrowind mods more justice...

fixed for gamespot :)why bother when half of the consoles are playable on pc with a console controller. if you dont want your pc to be a fake console "gaming" platform get a special computer that was meant to play games(gaming console). i dont see a point in playing console games on something you do work with

I clearly mentioned I was talking about current gen games. Don't see why you would count 10 year old games that can be played on a $30 dollar garage sale computer.
