In anticipation for Zelda Wii, I decided to make this here poll to help determine System War's favorite 3-D Zelda Game (So no Link to the past).
In my opinion: Twilight Princess>Ocarina of Time>Wind Waker>>Majoras Mask (Still great).

Either Ocarina of Time or Wind Waker. I have equal nostalgia for both, WW being my first Zelda game and OoT being the classic it is, so I can't decide which one is technically better.
Damn it Jim! You get your butt over to the closest Game store you can find and buy the damn thing this instant! Trust me, it's a long game, so you'll definitely get your moneys worth out of it.Ocarina>MM>WW
Havnt played TP yet (i know, i should be ashamed).
Loved them all.

In my opinion, Twilight Princess was the greatest Zelda game of all time. The boss battles were epic, the level design of the dungeons was incredible, and the feeling of rushing through the massive Hyrule Field on Epona is simply breathtaking. I don't see why so many people "hate" it - if it got a better score here on GS, I'm willing to bet attitudes would be far different. Second is MM, then OoT, and the 2D Zelda games, and finally Windwaker, which I just hated. princeofshapeir
When GS reviewed that game, I said "Bah, GS has no idea what it's talking about!" But after playing it, they were right on the money. TP is a great game, but it's a total rehash and has no unique identity.

For me
Ocarina of Time > Wind Waker >> Majoras Mask>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Twilight Princess (the game felt like OOT, only with far worst art, design, no atmosphere and a total reharse, i did not like it at all, as a Zelda too was terrible for me, the Gears of war like colors did not help either, neither did the horrid low resolution muddy and blurry visuals, i wonder why from some point companies have to make games so ..... mature or technology based)
Twilight Princess is one of those games i wish were never released, and a symptom of Nintendo loosing all its talent fast (the Square syndrom)
Zelda doom will be the mature way TP tries, like Square and FF doom was the overlytechnology based style, instead of using FF9 settinga
Twilight Princess is in dead last. It deserved the score it got. Actually, I would say it deserved a lower score.

The game wasn't really trying to be mature... The storyline was darker, but some of the characters were still irreverently humorous and comical in traditional Zelda style. And the art design for a couple of characters is kind of lame, but Link, Ganon, Zelda, and Midna look fantastic, IMO. The graphics are great considering it's a GameCube game, and the atmosphere was really absorbing to me. I dunno. To each their own, I guess.[QUOTE="theseekar"][QUOTE="gmc2u_64"]

To each their own, I guess. The graphics on my HDTV, were some of the worst i have seen in my life actually, they tried to use a lot of textures, and were so low resolution that looked far worst than say Zelda WW on a HDTV, does not even look good in high res emmulation on PC and Dolphin, the game was that bad viually, even though it was GC title indeed, Zelda WW looked vastly better
As for Ganon and the dragon, liked both, but i hated everything else about the game, tow bosses that also dont fit in because of bad design overall dont save it in the slightest
The desert was the only place i felt like something new was there, and that was very limited
In short, i bought a Wii for TP, and was one huge dissapointment (not worst than FF13 one though)
OOT is probably the best package overall, even if WW is my personal favourite.WW andMM both have great atmospheres and overworlds, but I feel their dungeons/core gameplay leave a bit to be desired. OOT has good both. TP has neither, insultingly easy dungeons and a bland overworld and atmosphere.

Agree with just about everything
Personally, Wind Waker. I couldn't stop playing that game, I even did just about everything in the game.
Oot because it is the defining Zelda experience to me. Second comes MM, because of the more mature and serious story+plots. The other two I greatly dislike. WW was a step back for the series, not just graphically. But the game just felt a warped idea of what Zelda should be. And if WW was a step back, then TP was two steps. Instead of innovating, they just added on more gimmicks, such as the Wii mote and the wolf. The story and gameplay were incredibly stale. The game was overall forgetable.
Pretty much every Zelda release after the launch of the gamecube has been lackluster.

Well, Wind Walker was stunning, one of the best, definatly not any step back, everything about it was amzing, the sense of scale, the bosses, the cool moments liek the water castle etc etc
It is my most memorable Zelda after OOT easilly
MM was amazing too
As for TP, i hated it, it never had the magic of other zeldas there, probably becausethey used a lot of Gears of War pallete and feeling this time, to move to "next gen"
In my mind next gen has destroyed FF13 and Zelda TP
Must... resist... urge.... to.... b****.... slap.... :POot because it is the defining Zelda experience to me. Second comes MM, because of the more mature and serious story+plots. Twilight Princess is my favourite Zelda as it was just one of the most epic and immersive gaming experience I've ever went through. MM was a great game, and if you don't look at gameplay innovations (such as Z-targeting, etc.), it was probably better than OoT, although the latter is more enjoyable. WW had nothing going for it except for its art style.
OoT, then WW. Great overworlds, so much to do apart from the main quest. With OoT, as soon as I got into Hyrule Field, I was off rounding up heart pieces everywhere. Less so with TP, which prevented you from going to lots of places until the story demanded it. MM, I haven't tried exploring - it's kinda hard when you have a time limit.

Majora's Mask>Twilight Princess>Wind Waker> Ocarina of Time (Ocarina of time is still really great but it has been surpassed)
I also played Majora's Mask recently for the first time a couple years after I first played Twilight Princess and I think it is the best.
