[QUOTE="AdobeArtist"]Bungie. How many developers have the same level of constistency with 5 games all scoring AAA?ZevianderNintendo... VALVe... Blizzard (especially Blizzard)...
OK, you got it with Valve and Blizzard for sure. But with all of Nintendo's offerings, they've had a few misses (granted very minor ones) with some games that only made it as AA. And let me emphasise there is nothing wrong with AA and those are great games. But the other 3 (Bungie, Valve, and Blizzard) have hit that AAA homerun every time. They are in a league outside Nintendo.

But Nintendo has been producing their quality games for at least a decade longer than VALVe and Blizzard, and a decade-and-a-half longer than Bungie. With that much more time under their belt, any bumps on the metacritic road are irrelevant. And even if they don't fulfill expectations for fans, they have always been exceptional games in their own rights. I find it amusing how scores, an entirely subjective measurement, is being used to represent developers' objective ability to produce quality games.
[QUOTE="Zeviander"][QUOTE="ispeakfact"]Sony Santa Monica. Each of their God of War games have been AAA on meta.FIipModeAnd boring as f*ck to anyone who has played DMC3 or Bayonetta... or actually knows something about Greek mythology. Who told you that.Someone wise.

Crickets....I set myself up for a big fail on that one.I'd say Nintendo's track record is quite impressive. They aren't perfect (who is) but their level of quality is mostly unmatched and they produce a very high number of games each gen.

Who told you that.FIipModeA lot of people who's first step into the action-slasher genre was not God of War. And people familiar with Greek mythology. Ask anyone who has played Ninja Gaiden Black, Devil May Cry 3 or Bayonetta before a God of War game and they'll tell you the same thing. God of War is the Call of Duty of action games. Good and very well-made, but insanely derivative and appealing to the lowest common denominator.

Actually Bungie has been around longer than Valve, and is just as old as Blizzard (if you count their old company names).
Valve and Bungie for me.

I have played all those games...the only one I would take over it, as far as a game to play, is NG. And the complexity of DMC and Bayonetta to NG isn't as close as the complexity of GoW to DMC or Bayonetta. You can still get by mashing dem buttons in both DMC and Bayonetta. Oh and no one cares if it doesn't follow correct mythology. It's just source material, and very interesting source material at that.

I've played some of those games before GOW, I don't find GOW boring at all, actually I find that series more fun than NJ or Bayonetta.

Anybody who could suffer that much corny Japanese animated action deserves a medal.
