Which next generation console are you looking forward to the most?

None of them, it's too early if these are actual next gen machines. If we're looking at them as iterative machines, the Scorpio has my interest.

I am intrigued to see what Nintendo have wrought with the NX I suppose.

None of those.

For starters outside of the NX, none of them are actually next gen machines, and this gen of consoles sucks so much that it's hard to really get all that excited for console gaming.

NX. Its the only thing that is being brought to the table that can be considered new. The only thing the twins are doing is just increasing graphical power but pretty much using the same thing. Which means I'm expecting the same things from them. If NX comes out and is powerful enough that it gets all 3rd party games I won't touch either of the twins, even if it was given to me.

Well rumor has it NX is likely to be even weaker than Xbone or at best between Xbone and PS4. Why the hell is Nintendo so cheap?

If anything,these "upgraded" consoles are making me even less interested in console gaming than I already was this gen,all things considered. The NX is still a mistery but I doubt it will be anything I´m even remotely interested.

The gap between XBO and X360 is 5.5X

The gap between XBOv2 (6 TFLOPS) and XBO is 4.5X

I'm interested in NX the most cause I have no idea what it is.

I'm going to be a lot more cautious on new consoles since I haven't liked any of the new ones lately. I don't like putting in a disc installing a game and then having to keep the disc inside feels very archaic. Once a game is installed should always work I shouldn't have to constantly swap discs and delete stuff to make more room for things doesn't feel like any of consoles belong in 2016 and if the next ones they put out are more of the same I'm probably done unless they have some insane exclusives.

At this point, none of them. I rarely play on the 3 consoles as it is. Now that my friends have or are building rigs, I don't see much point in consoles.

I was hyped for the NX, but Nintendos silence has killed that. At least their first party offers something different, so if I had to choose, NX would get my vote.

A hardware boost isn't going to fix the games problem. It'll be the same old issues with slightly less shit hardware.

Despite everyone keeps saying that no one isn't interested NX as a true next-gen console, I for one am interested to see what Nintendo brings to the table this time around and sure, Wii U wasn't nothing to brag about this year, but at least I'm hoping they learn there mistakes this time around age there act together with NX.

NX for sure. Always excited for a new Nintendo console and fun Nintendo games. Cant wait to see how how they change gaming yet again.

I really think Sony and Microsoft both know Nintendo could definitely challenge the ps4/xb1 in the console space.

The consoles they both put out are weak, and overpriced to profit from the start.

Which means that both sony and microsoft now let nintendo be able to beat them with price and power.

Also both of the systems are pay to play online so if nintendo can offer a free online service with amazon that's another huge hit against sony and microsoft have to pay to play 3rd party games online.

Sony and Microsoft left the door open here. Xbox One isn't even selling good and look how much microsoft has discounted it, and the PS4 is selling good it hasn't got a real competitor.

Literally all it would take is a stronger system, with a good exclusives like zelda (for hardcore), and maybe a way to game (for casuals) and NX could start sprinting past XB1 quickly and maybe catch up to PS4 especially if multiplats ran best on NX over the ps4 that would hurt ps4 sales a lot especially on single player games.

The secret to this war is the kids, Nintendo needs to follow Disney. Disney is growing stronger then ever, its time for Nintendo to follow suit.

I'm looking forward to upgrading my gpu and getting a 1440p monitor in a year or two.

I'll always love Nintendo but they've been exponentially giving me fewer and fewer reasons to buy their hardware... All their IP justifies a console purchase, but just some of their top quality IP and mediocre installments for the rest? Ehh... Pass.

Yeah but look at the XBOX ONE it is trying to price war against the PS4 and it's not really working. its losing 2:1 and its 50 dollars cheaper people just want the better system and the better multiplats and the better exclusives.

@ProtossRushX: Its not? Xbox One is only 2 million consoles behind PS4 in NA. Xbox One spends millions in advertising and it helps a bunch in keeping Xbox One relevant. Also Xbox One is more popular among kids for some strange reason.

For my personal tastes, Nintendo's games are the funniest to play.
Take a moment in the evening with my old or recent N consoles helps me to unwind and relax after a full day of hard work.
I hope i will be surprised (in a positive way) by this new console next year!

Damn, I know it's only a small pool of votes right now, but I didn't imagine the NX would be winning, let alone dominating.

That was my vote too though. Can't say I'm really looking forward to it, but at the very least I know that Nintendo will provide a stable of good exclusives.

If its anything like every Nintendo system before it, the NX will have a games library all of its own, so im pretty excited to see the lineup it has.

As for the other two, no original games & more fees? My PC scoffs at them.

The NX will be the only one mixing things up, I'm not interested in upgrading my ps4 until it's a ps5

I still don't think they're "next generation" consoles... but I'm most interested in Scorpio and NX.

NX. i have no idea what it is and nintendo are batsh*BEEP* insane. it could be truly horrid or it could be revealed and all the competition just stare agast and go "well.....dam" due to it being so clever.

if it is a PS4 clone after all this then i will be dissapointed.

i also like nintendos games so that always helps. i know i will have a library of games for it by hte time it comes to an end.

i continue to keep an eye on the PS4 and X1 though. im curious to see what the neo is going to bring to the table.....im not thrilled with this mid cycle hardware upgrade though but i will hear them out. games wise there are only a couple on the PS4 that have my interest and nothing on the X1 but i hope E3 changes my mind.

NEO is just a suped up PS4. I already have a PS4, though I'm leaning towards getting more and more.

I'm looking forward to Scorpio the most since its Phil's first console design under his reign at Xbox.

Very curious about what the NX is in terms of hardware but I have no interest in a Nintendo only box.

Might hold off upgrading to the Neo if the Scorpio will get the best multiplats. I can role with my current PS4 until Sony stops supporting it as I have no interest in PS VR anyways.

What is so bad about current gen consoles? There a tons of great games to be played right now and we aren't even three full years in.

Funny you say the NX is the only next-gen console when it will be a lot weaker than both the Neo and Scorpio.

Not looking forward to any of them cause we don't even know if 2 of them exist. No reason to get excited.over rumors.

Neo because Sony make the best consoles. NX would be runner up thanks to Zelda and Scorpio?... they have no exclusives so no thanks.

If this 6 tflops thing is a reality that's really impressive for a console. Once I heard about Neo I figured MS would respond with something. But 6 tflops is more than I expected. That's a beast.

But we do have leaked specs at least for the Neo.

6 Tflops is totally doable in a console released in mid to late 2017. Its less of a price issue and more about Microsoft's TDP budget for the console. Even if Microsoft can't hit 6 Tflops with the Scorpio I'm quite confident they will still be in the 5+ Tflops range.

Those aren't Next Gen.

The PS4 is shit, the XB1 is almost shit (it would be shit if Forza Motorsport didn't exist, but now it's on PC, so I guess it's safe to call the console shit now) and the Wii U, while a great console with great games, performed like shit commercially.

We know literally nothing of any value about the NX, so it's impossible to make any conclusion about it. The PS4 Neo is just a PS4, which I've already concluded to be shit, just with VR (which is already better on PC). And finally, the Scorpio is just another Xbox console with more power. Defined by nothing of any value and Hololens which isn't really for gaming but business.

Consoles have become largely shit in the past generation, and as someone who greatly enjoyed console gaming from the beginning of my gaming career in the early 1990's, it pisses me the hell off.

If only a console's quality was determined by it's hardware performance power.

Xbox Scorpio because MS and XBox have figured out a way to end the consoles wars for good and that is by making the new xbox a windows 10 xbox ... the new xbox will give gamers windows 10 games and apps ... since Windows dominates the PC user base ... the console sales won't really matter as xbox games will have access to over 300 million users off its windows 10 store ... MS n XBox have found a way to counter the ps4 worldwide love affair ... every game will be developed for windows 10 where its dx 12 also shines ... Not only that but Xbox VR with the rift will also give xbox users access to STEAM !

None really, Even if there is a moderate bump in hardware that effects gaming, gen 9 hardware from MS/SONY have me more interested in what they will be able to do.

@panda30: that is not all either ... how about the xbox app they made giving smart phone users and tablet users some access to xbox windows 10 games in some capacity ... and even the xbox steaming stick rumored to give people who don't care about that access to xbox windows 10 games by hdtv hook up

xbox has figured out how to kill off the gaming wars ... with access to all these users without a single xbox console sold
