I think I'm getting it for Windows PC

I built my PC for BF2 back in 05, I'm tempted to upgrade (more like a total rebuild haha) for BF3 but ill try the Xbox beta before I make my final decision. a lot has changed in my life since 05', like having a 2 year old daughter running around. money's tight
PS3....do i want the PC one...hell yea but money is tight and i dont have a strong friends list on PC like i do on consoles....either way im still excited
PS3. I strongly dislike the keyboard and mouse for gaming. I know the "If you're not playing it on PC, you're not playing right" stuff and all but using a keyboard and mouse is uncomfortable for me to use when playing games so much to the point I'd rather play an inferior version with a controller.
PS3 and PC. It would just be straight up PC but I have several friends getting it for the PS3 so I know its going to be fun being in a squad with them. Of course I'll probably wait a little bit for the price to fall :P

Why not just play the PC version with a controller then?

1. I wasn't aware that BF3 supported a controller. I'll look into it.
2. If I can play it with a controller which version I buy will depend entirely on whether or not I have the money to upgrade my stone age computer.

He'd be at a competitive disadvantage to those comfortable with KB+Mouse.
PC version. Building a new one soon. Couldn't imagine playing this game on anything else. Just doesn't make sense.

[QUOTE="brickdoctor"] Im sure it supports a controller, but you may as well enjoy it on consoles if you are in bad need of an upgrade. [QUOTE="hkhatir"]

Oh derp, forgot about that lol.PS3 'cause all my friends are getting it on there. Yes, I have a PC that is more than capable of handling it, but I care more about playing with my friends than some higher settings and resolution. Yep, I'm doing it wrong :D.
I mostly use my PC for exclusives
Is it getting a Mac release? That would be interesting, considering it would have to be OpenGL based, and the Windows version is targeting DX11. nah im totally joking. i would never own a mac.[QUOTE="yellosnolvr"]macPC_Otter
PS3 if I get it. No gaming PC and won't pay for Live. I will check out the PC version at a buddy's though.DeathtransitFriends? How are freinds cooler than resolution?
Not everyone has a million dollar PC, the only system I have capable of playing that game is the Xbox360.
PC, I think you're crazy if you pick anything else!
A pc capable of running it easily today isn't much more expensive than the consoles at launch...Not everyone has a million dollar PC, the only system I have capable of playing that game is the Xbox360.

Okay I guess I'm crazy because my PC can't run that demanding of a game.

It would be interesting, especially with Valve on board with supporting Macs now. While I have no problem bashing Mac users who buy the system for just being an Apple machine, I totally respect the actual hardware, build quality and OS. Though they are priced ludicrously of course (I think iMacs are decently priced though). Also, having Mac support brings us another step closer to actual Linux support, since you know OSX is based on Unix and OpenGL is usable on virtually every OS. Brink in fact uses OpenGL, but is a pretty mediocre game that has running issues, which is no help :P[QUOTE="yellosnolvr"]macyellosnolvr
im getting mines on 360. because i don't pc game at the moment....and i'm grabbin mw3 on ps3...spread it out
