Well WHY couldn't they just expanded on Banjo-Tooie's Gameplay (Like Banjo-Tooie expanded on Banjo-Kazooie)? WHY did they have to do such a radical change to a great formula (By that Imean throwing out the Banjo-Tooie Gameplay for something random)?

because they are Rare, they aim to over achieve themselves, yeah they figured they could just add on to Tooie (in fact if you read up on it youd know that one of the orignal concepts for nuts and bolts was remixed levels IE: Mumbos Mountain would have a giant queen termite coming out.) and another concpet that they had was just reagular platforming but grunty was platforming alongside you and you basically had to beat her in all of the challenges.
these concepts got scrapped because rare knew "we can do better then that, I mean we are Rare for cryin out loud"

and they did that and made nuts and bolts, people played it, some liked it, some didnt, and here we are today with me telling you how it all works :P

It will, more development time on one system is better than 3 systems like PDZ, plus it'll be finished too.

dude seriously, Rare tried something new with ONE GAME. There is no need to get upset over it, just because they decided to try something different with one game does not mean they are going to re create all of there franchises.

but yeah besides that point I am, I loved Perfect dark. I replayed it on N64 the other day to make sure that it is aging well so that I know that people who **** about it in SW when it comes out are just lying :P

yeah, it is def worth that score. Id give GOldeneye an 8 though, that was one of the few Rare games throught the generations that I wasnt a huge fan of.

I don't know about that. Rare (Sadly) is stubborn (No matter the backlash)...

as stated on previous pages, they arent all that stubborn you just have to know where to go to talk to them. They have twitters, live accounts and a few banjo fansite accounts.

Most likely a platformer

[spoiler] at the end of the game L.O.G gives them back their powers while Kazooie says "Yeah we might need them just in case this game doesn't do well" [/spoiler]

yeah you have a point there he did say that. ALthough the thing is that the game did do fairly well, in sales it got 500K which while not huge is still pretty good, and its reviews for the most part were fairly positive (minus IGN UK and Gametrailers.) Plus it won GIamtbombs 360 goty beating out Gears 2 and Fable 2. I think its safe to say that the game did well. ALthough I wont complain (Id actually be happier) if the next game were a core platformer.

also I think it would be cool if rare ported or made a sequel to Banjo Pilot on LIve Arcade, I was playing that a few minutes ago on my GBA SP (got a DSi so cant play games on that anymore :P) and I realized its one of my favorite kart racers not only on the platform but of that whole gen.
