Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2, KillZone 2, Little Big Planet, and Metal Gear Solid 4 beats anything in the 360 library.

except halo, but thats the only legit exlusive to the 360.

Silverbond

Halo, Gears of War, Alan Wake, Mass Effect, Splinter Cell, Forza 3, Bayonetta and Lost Odyssey.

The end.

Gears of War 1 isn't exclusive. The Mass Effect series and the Splinter Cell series aren't exclusive.

Bayonetta is available for the PS3.

If you own a 360 you can play Gears, Mass Effect, Splinter Cell and the AAA version of Bayonetta.

If you own a PS3 you CANNOT play Gears, Mass Effect or Splinter Cell. You can play a broken crappy version of Bayonetta that scored AA and reviews warned to avoid like the plague.

These are indisputable facts. I'm sorry but it's true.

360 owners can play all of those games.

alexfla

*sigh*

Exclusive games are only one platform. Uncharted 2, God of War 3, and MGS4 are all exclusive to the PS3 platform. No one can play them unless they are using a PS3. Those three games = only on PS3.

End of story.

Ps3, 360 has some nice ones but is better with multiplats.

The only way people can respond is by using a PC, Mac, or maybe the PS3. SO unless they do not own a PC (do not think there is a Mac version of ME2) then they CAN (could be a 5 year old PC that does not have the minimum specs.) they can play the game.

where as PC, MAC ... they can not play UC2... unless they own a PS3.

Are you insane?! Bayonetta is going to be Bayonetta now matter what system your playing it on. The story is not changing nor is the gameplay. The game sucked anyway its just a cheap rip off of DMC with a chick.

Difficult to say. Both are close in exclusive count, so it's a matter of preference. Personally it's the PS3 for me.

So they'd still need the PS3 to play the games. Doesn't matter if you don't own the console. You can still only play them using a PS3.

What a bizarre way to look at it.

PS3 wins by far in the exclusive category, however I prefer 360 to PS3. Anyway my view on the consoles is. 360 - Online/Multiplayer PS3 - Single Player I actually recently sold my 360, and yes I'll be buying another one for Halo:Reach

If you can finish all of the PS3 exclusives in one weekend and never want to play them again what does that tell you?

None of those games have any worthwhile multiplayer modes.

Halo you can play for years. Gears you can play for years. Lost Odyssey 50 - 100 hours single player game. You get the point.

Not really, as they are still solely for the PS3. Length, period of time you wish to play, replayability etc have no impact on what is exclusive.

PS3 by far. The 360 only has like a couple dozen, as 360/PC games are not 360 exclusives.

There's no correct answer for this as it depends on what games you like playing. Personally I own all the systems so it's not something I need to worry about but, if I had to pick between the two, I probably personally prefer the PS3 AAA exclusive titles.

Don't forget there are over 200 X360 exclusives and 180 PS3 exclusives so that's a lot to be comparing!!

BTW, to all those people saying that PC/X360 exclusives can't be called exclusive.... they exclude the PS3 from the game list so they are exclusive :) That said this would mean Modern Warfare 2 is exclusive as I can't play it on my iPhone :D Anyway stop with the argument about PC/X360. The OP said PS3 vs X360 so therefore any game that is on one console but not the other can be considered exclusive for this, ever repeating, discussion.

PS3's got the better exclusives IMO. 360's got some great ones in its library and some yet to come, but generally speaking, I find that the PS3's exclusives are of a higher caliber. There aren't many games like Uncharted 2 or Demon's Souls on 360. There isn't a Little Big Planet. I just find the PS3 exclusives to be more interesting and it has more variety.

The only way the 360 stands a chance to the PS3 is if they add the PC/360 "exclusives" there which people right now are doing. Also my preference lies in the PS3 so...

Actually it only takes Alan Wake and Halo Reach to have a better lineup in 2010 for me than PS3, which only had rents like GOW3, Heavy Rain for me

See, not everyone likes games that are linear, short, repeatitive and over in a single sitting, with coriddor like "worlds"

I wont even mention the 9.5/10 Mass Effect 2 that is an almost AAAA game on 360 and PS3 of course does not have it and Fable 3 that is my most wanted title this generation by far too and only on 360 in consoles

Do you honestly think you can finish all PS3 exclusives in one weekend? :|

Also single player only games also have replay value. I alreadt beat 3 times Mass Effect 2 and alan Wake

I finished all of GOW3, Uncharted 1-2, LBP, Killzone 2 in one sitting

MGS4 took me 1 day and half, mainly because of cinematics though

I have played Mass Effect 2 and Demon Soul farmore than all those games combined

It's simple, if you've finished all those games in one siiting, produce your PSN ID so, I can check that dates and time because PS3 Trophies track that sort of thing and you can also get trophies offline. I sense more PSN ID excuses coming in 5...4...3...2...1...

I told you before Alan Wake is just as short, linear and repetitive as GOW III and Heavy Rain.

No, it is not nearly as linear and has exploration, GOW3 is coriddors all the time and has zero exploration

And 15 hours for AWis more than 8 of course that tookme to finish GOW3

Alan Wake has the story, explorartion and different things to see and do, it was not just bushing two buttons all the time, was far more varied

Luckily your so called facts are not the opinions of most people or at least all the people for that matter. Im on my 5th playthrough in GOW3 and still plan on continuing...Its just so damn addicting.FYI.

Not everyone likes mindless shooters. Your point?

I wont even mention LBP 2 that will be subject to almost infinite replayibilty and creation. And Mass effect 2 was rated 9.0/10 (please get scores right) while im excited for Infamous 2 which is for now my most wanted sanbox action game EXCLUSIVE to PS3. Fable 3 is on PC also, which is where ill buy it for, just saying :P

Wow i was a little aggresive there :P Its hard debating and playing Killzone 2 at the same time :P

Show me your PSN ID. I want to see your one sitting GOW III completion trophies. If you check my gamertag you can see that I beat Alan Wake in 2 two sittings 30 minutes played on the 22nd in which I got 3 achievements and then the other 9 hours on the 23rd I got the other 33.

Alan Wake has no exploration besides look for Manuscripts and Coffee Thermoses and even then they're are not hard to find. Alan Wake has big environments but there is nothing to do in them besides check for collectibles and turn on tvs / radios before continuing on the main path. GOW has hidden Feather and Gorgon Eye Chests to look for as collectibles.

The PS3 exclusives make up most of my favourite games this gen. The 360 has a few decent ones like Alan Wake but nothing special IMO.

I dont hunt for trophies or achievements, i explore for the exploration, not to actually find all collectables, more to find health and ammo, and Alan Wake was full of such exploration in full 3D

In GOW3, i dont recall many secrets that were more than a wall opening, or backtracking a bit to find a "secret" area behind the camera, Alan Wake had actual full 3D places to explore, thus made the game far more open and took far more time to look around

In GOW i maxed everything in aroudn 8 hours, in Alan Wake i still have not found all pages after the 15 hours playthrough
