who here has never played a halo game?

I have never played a halo game..

Halo 1 was amazing. I still play it on pc sometimes. 2 was ok, and 3 sucked.

I never liked the multiplayer really.

Lol theres really no point in buying a Halo game if you dont like the main resaon why its popular in the first place, its multiplayer!

There are 3 types of people that don't like HALO....

1. Played it, got owned hard online, suddenly the game became overated garbage.

2. It's popular there-fore I hate it, because that makes me deep & complicated. (Most likely still in high school)

3. I'm against MS and everything they touch, because I'm a blind fanboy of another company, and Halo threatens me.

hmm... yours are valid points.. but you did miss one other reason which applies to me & probably many others..

4. Like fps shooters, found Halo(3)to be a good fps title withgood sp campaign & fun online, but didnt like it much..

played beat every one on legendary sept the 3rd only beat it on hardcore or whatever its called actually sold my halo 3 was always a fan but honestly cod 4 came and stole my heart and i never found myself playing my halo anymore but yah day 1 fan still a fan

if i recall correctly Naked snake did the first HALO jump in history at the virtous mission

i played halo 1 in pc but never go to the end because i got really bored at some lame part, it was the same over and over, and i played halo 2 in pc for a bit but never got to even 10% because the game itself felt crap

I got Halo3 day one and only started paying for live last year. Imo the best value of it is it´s campaign and split screen coop

It seems to becoming one of those franchises where it's hard to find those that haven't played them.

I know there are plenty of people on these forums that have never played a Halo game, yet will still share their opinions of its "suckiness" and "overrated" merits as if they did have any hands on experience with the games ;)

Played about half of the first and the third as well as a couple of MP matches. I don't hate Halo but always though the games are at best 'ok'. As far as I can tell the fame and love for Halo was never so much the story or the gameplay or the ballance but that it was the first FPS that actually worked well on a controller. Because of that it took console players by storm. However from a PC perspective it added nothing new, it had poor graphics (especially for when it was released on the PC), normal controls (mouse + keyboard) and was about a generic cliched space marine guy killing cartoony aliens.

Thats really Halo's great claim to fame besides having sold a ton of copies.. it actually works on a controller

I had and XBOX and played through the SP on Halo: CE. Great game, but I moved on quickly. It wasn't the ground break experience that I know other people had with it. I developed my chops on Quake and actually preferred playing Red Faction 2 with friends. It's all a matter of taste.

I put over 1200 hours into Halo 3.It was fun playing with friends,but then I got RRoD.So I bought a Ps3.I will admit though,it was a great gamezbdyx
