Who here honesly thinks NG2 will be multiplatform?

Just because there tweaking up black and calling it Sigma for the Ps3, cows are getting a little too excited and going as far as saying Ninjga Gaiden 2 will be multiplat. How laughable. Its Sony that cant keep its exclusives with its small fanbase.  Cows should not get thier hopes up, as there is no reason for one of the 360s best exclusives to go to the PS3. Just be happy you have Sigma.

I'm sure it will come to the PS3. I don't know if release at the same with the Xbox360 or a port.shungokustasu

They haven't even anounced it yet, i'm pretty sure they are working simultaneously on both consoles considering the closest realease would be mid-late 2008.

Im so excited for NG2 Sigma.

If Sigma does great on the PS3, then I don't see a reason why they wouldn't release NG2 on the PS3.

Who knows, Sigma could've just been a test to get a feel for the ps3 hardware, and NG2 could be built for the ps3 and ported to the 360.

Itagaki had no plans to release his games outside of microsoft. The reason his games are out on sony and nitendo was cause his apprentice begged him to broaded the fanbase of NG. Itagaki gave his blessing to widen the NG fanbase by having NG series out in other consoles. I dont know if itagaki worked on the DS game, but he didnt work on NGS at all.

Of course NG 2 will be multiplatform.

Indeed. Anyone with half a brain can see that they put Sigma on the PS3 in order to establish a fanbase on the PS3 for when they release NG2 multiplat. This is also the reason that the 360 did not get Sigma, as Xbox already has the NG fanbase that have already been anticipating NG2.

Team Ninja wanted PS3 owners to get a next gen version of NG in order to insure sales for NG2 when it goes multi-plat....it is as simple as that. Anyone who thinks that NG2 will not be multiplat after the fact that Team Ninja made Sigma EXCLUSIVELY for the PS3 are blind as bats. Not to mention that Team Ninja have been singing praise after praise for the PS3. Of course it will be multiplat, only a fool would think it would not be at this point, lol.

Itagaki promised he would be loyal to his fans and wouldnt turn back on them by switching exclusives. i can see ng2 being made by his apprentice while itagaki works on other projects while how it was like ngs. there are so many team ninja games projects that are suppose to come out in the future such as DOA5, NG2, and DOA cronus (ayane/kasumi).istreakforfood

After the Demo, I can safely say this game will sell 1-2million copies. Happy too. Virtua Fight 5, Motorstorm, and Tekken is getting stale. 

I think it will depend on sigma sales, and i dont see them being that great. not many people who didnt play it on xbox know about ninja gaidenEl_Fanboy

I don't know. A lot of people still do not own a PS3. And there are people who are turned off by the difficulty of Ninja Gaiden. I'm definetly buying Sigma though. The graphics are really good, and I love challenging games.

when did i say he would leave microsoft? i know itagaki favors mircosoft. whats the point of posting that here anyways ppl will just say thats not true,

90% chance it will be ported to Ps3, specially now that Team Ninja/Tecmo is making NG for NDS and PS3.

Also Itagaki publically critisized MS for not using a bigger format like blu-ray, although he has also stated the 360 is the best platform in the world.

Maybe he's got some crazy idea on how to use the extra space and he could implement it in a ps3 port or spin-off.

look, the only way NG2 goes to PS3 is if HYASHI is the man who brings it there with his own NG2 Sigma. Itagaki has already made it clear in his interviews that he is working on NG2 for 360, he says XBOX is his "home". Itagaki has the final say in whether NG2 goes to PS3, it is HIS game and NOT Hayashi's.

Take NG: Sigma for example, it's not being designed by Itagaki himself. So if Tecmo decides that NG2 will be on the PS3, it's not his choice. Of course it's his choice if he wants to work on it. I'm not saying anyone will really decide for NG2 to go multiplatform, but it's not completely unconceivable.JLuke360

never happen. either way we will find out at E3 based on what Itagaki has said in his interviews, so its not that far away now.
